Justin Johnson to Perry Central
#1
Per his twitter account. Thoughts?
#2
@justin23johnson: The beginning of a new chapter! #legggo
#3
Lol if he is eligible, then literally every other player should be.
#4
Purely academic move! PCC has a credit recovery program and ACT prep program second to none
#5
Not surprised one bit.
#6
^Nothing surprises me anymore lol
#7
Looks like some good news for me today. Smile

#9
ah boys...
#10
Is this the big news ekff was talking abou last night? We pretty much already knew this was gonna happen
#11
no one knew anything until he was walking the halls
#12
wow, this puts pcc at a whole new level!!!! I think a top 10 in the state team.
#13

With the move this has to push PCC to #1 in the Region. That team is gonna be a force come February/March
#16
Johnson, Beverly, and Cornett has to make Perry the #1 team in the region. Kcc, Bhs, and Hhs all a close second.
#17
If he moves, for whatever reason, who gives a shit? As long as he actually moves. I mean seriously, heaven forbid a kid better himself. I feel bad for the Perry guys but that means they need to work that much harder to get in that rotation of players. Depth never hurt anyone.
#18
Like the great philosopher Burt Brown would say "ITS ON!" The University of Perry County will rule the region until John Noble beats them as usual with his mighty mites in the first round of the district tournament.
#19
Congrats to Johnson and PCC, Keep your head up Johnson and dont pay any mind to what people say on here, your a great ball player and even better kid, you will go far!!! no matter what you choose to do alwyas remember Martin county will always pull for you!!!!
#20
Might as well just let kids go to school wherever they want, and not have any eligibility rules. JMO
#21
This is scary, Perry will be a force this year.
#22
Evidently the big news EKFF was talking about hasn'
t come to pass yet !!!
#23
A coach once told me this- "can't win a horse race with a mule"..lol
I'm happy for both of them and hope they give me reason to roll outta bed on Sunday March, 10th. Sucks for rest of 14th though.
#24
Great move PCC! Too bad you couldn't take Shane Hall or Ray Kasongo! lol!

I would rather have Justin. Watch his games against Central. He is better than Hall.
#26
I have watched them both. I prefer Hall. Both are very good.
#27
That is by no means any disrespect to Hall as he is a great player. Just an opinion from games I have watched.
#28
What is going to be PCC's excuse when they don't make the sweet 16? obviously the Coach right Smile
#29
I think what cougar was hinting was PCC should get the other top players in the 15th so it would increase Valleys chance of winning the region. Not comparing Johnsons ability to any of the other 2 kids mentioned. Good luck Coach Spurlock and Good luck Justin! If a family deems it the best decision for their child to move with a coach somewhere then so be it. I have no problem with that.
