by the end of the season, I think he's not just the best in the mountains, but one of the better QB's in the state. May be a bold statement, JMHO though.

There is Trent then there is Sizemore then there is everyone else.

Peyton Manning....oh wait...wrong mountains!

Dalton Sizemore is a good qb this year. A lot of people fail to realize he is only a jr this year, I can't imagine how good he will be next season. The only reason he is not in front of Trent this year is because no one has seen his ability to run but with a group of receivers like Williamsburg has he never has had to run.

Best I've seen so far this year: Richard Trent, Breathitt County.

Ryan Jenkins from Magoffin is a solid QB as only a Sophomore. Has a nice arm and is a dual threat because he has some wheels. Has very good pocket prescense and ability to brake tackles nicely. He had 150 passing yards and a TD, and 49 rushing yards and a TD against Leslie Co. last week.

id say trent from breathitt, sizemore from wburg, pray from pcc, and horton from leslie. those would be my ranks

No, Harlan's pass D is pretty good although it sucked against Williamsburg. But,to be considered the best in the mountains you gotta perform against better than Harlan on a bad night. I'll say the run game of the Jackets totally threw us off. We expected to see pass pass pass from Sizemore and thats what we spent most of our practice time on. Good move on your coach's part. We did do better against LCA and they have a similar game as Williamsburg. But you got QB's like Trent from Breathitt who is going up against competition on a higher level and putting up good numbers. If Sizemore is the best I'll get behind him on this but he has to prove it to me. The jury is still out on Saragas and he's got some proving to do too. He did have a good game against LCA with like 12 of 24 for 220 and 3 TD's,but he can do better. I just think the best in the mountains should be more than numbers but numbers against solid competition. I can't remember what Sizemores numbers were against Harlan but I'm sure they were pretty good.
