Good confidence boost for the young Panthers! Saw a lot of improvement from last week. Still need some improvement in the secondary. Now lets get ready and be ready to play these next few weeks. These next few games will be a good test for the young panthers!

Proud of these young Panthers. Next week will be a tough one, so build on this one. HAIL PIKEVILLE!

Pikeville has just to many offensive play makers in this one. Great bounce back game.
I would like to say Powell Co, you all never gave up! And that should make you all keep those heads up!

Just an update on the 2 Pirates that got hurt. #1 Broke his wrist. He will have surgery to set it. #3 Just jammed his back real good while making a hit.

Congrats to the young Panthers on a great game. I feel very bad for the Jones kid from Powell Co who broke his arm. I suppose he will miss his entire SR season. I only hope for his sake that he gets a college scholarship to play football somewhere so he continue his career as he seems to be a very good player. Also I would like to admit that I was completely wrong on the outcome of this game and I wished that I had something more than Powell Co previous season success and Pikeville's early season woe's to use to select my pick but O well. I still believe although Pikeville played a very very good game against Powell Co that they will lose their next 4 games. I did say before that they could start off 0-6 but more than likely 1-5 so I am still sticking with that outcome as there next 4 games are the meat of there schedule and these 4 upcoming games are against very very good team's. Congrats to Pikeville on the Win.

Good to see Deric Pugh get the 1st touchdown of his high school career last night. Only a freshman. Another freshman who saw playing time was A.J. Vanderbeck, who looked just as good. Will be fun watching these two, as well as others the next four years.

They will be your leaders when this group of Juniors leave, IMO.
Here are highlights from the game:
Panther fans, watch closely at the 6:17 mark and see if that doesn't look eerily familiar.... Almost scary lol.

Your right PT! Very familiar! I never paid any attention the other night.

Pikeville is going to be solid for the next several years from what I can see. I don't know any names but they seem to have ALOT of young talent. Who is #22 and what grade is he in?

Austin Black, he is a Junior this year.

That kid is pretty good. Along with Chase Hall and serveral others!

^Agreed. When these kids get some experience underneath their belts, they should be dangerous!

Wow you guys will be good for a while. We graduate 5 or 6 I think, with only 3 that actually play. We should have a good year next season.
