Breathitt won easily last night and was very shorthanded.WR -Noble;WR,QB,S,PR-Cox; didn't play at all.WR,LB-Fugate;tossed.Kickers BOTH out.At least 2 linemen went down.Plus many more.Hopefuly we will be full force in the next couple weeks. Also I have to talk about the officiating on both teams was terrible. No team really got affected by it but it cost Breathitt more.3 TD's called back but only one was legitimate. And the worst call was Breathitt was punting;the ball looked to have hit a Breathitt player so the Letcher player picked up the LIVE ball and took off only to get hit and fumble it to Breathitt but the ref blew the play dead where the ball hit the player. It was a LIVE ball.I mean it looked like a complete ROOKIE crew or something.

I'd love to know what bad beat down your talking about it was a very close game and if it wasn't for a muffed punt I think the outcome would have been different

Listening to the Letcher radio they commented on several times on the poor officiating. At one point in the third quarter there was a sequence of plays that resulted in Breathitt having a long TD called back for a hold, Letcher then flagged the next play for a Breathitt first down, Breathitt then had another long run called back followed on the next play by another Letcher penalty. Next play was a Breathitt TD pass that was called back.
Both teams had double digit penalties early in the third quarter.

Sounds like that game had replacement refs too.

LCC just needs to get their act together, I bet all those players who left Jenkins to come there and play are beating themselves up right now haha
08-25-2012, 01:09 PM
you only get better playing tougher teams, Jenkins' schedule is no where near as tough as LCC's and THAT'S a known fact

For one you need to learn how to spell. It's "chapman" and the person running the D is one of the best defensive players ever to play at breathitt and also I think is a cousin to the chapmans. So learn your stuff and stop posting threads on here that no one can read.

hope coach rains can get everything lined out. lot of money to start off 0-2, just my 2 cents

Trent is a beast! This could be Holcomb's year to achieve (yet) another ring!

Good win. Did what they were supposed to do. Get better Bobcats and roll when it counts, the playoffs.

Im not sure why you keep on bringing up Breathitt playing Belfry. Breathitt has a solid team and Im sure Belfry does as they always do. Over the last 17 years there has been 5 State Titles between the two teams. Both will more than likely meet in round three again over at Belfry. This is a Breathitt Letcher Central thread not a thread to start gossip over Breathitts D coach or Belfry. I think you Reddog00 should focus more on a education and word knowledge than football. It might help your illiteracy. We will worry about your football knowledge after you practice your alphabet.
As for the game that took place it was a hard hitting game that had alot of flags. Letcher Central is huge up front and has a hard runner in #22. Breathitt was missing four starters from D and it showed in the second half with kids cramping from going both ways. Breathitt will be fine in the end and I think Letcher Central will continue to get better.
08-26-2012, 02:36 PM
I am sure Breathitt will be just fine when they play Belfry. Coach Collins is a great coach, as well as all of the other coaches at Breathitt.

If Breathitt does not turn the ball over, I like the Bobcat's chances against Belfry, especially on the road where the Bobcats focus better and play better..
