I don't see how u made this comparison.

So much chemistry with the team, the boys have been together for a long time and been winning with each other for a long time. They've sacrificed playing time and positions so others can thrive..much like the 08 team did. I'm not saying we will win it all like in 08, or even be as strong as the 09 or 10 teams, but the potential is there. Polly & Collett both could have started at running back on nearly every team around here from their fresh/soph years, but waited patiently and sacrificed some playing time until their senior years, oslonian was the mvp of the game at linebacker in Texas for middle school, but switched from 2nd string qb, to TE and Safety for the good of the team. A lot of unselfish kids on the field who just wants to win.

Central is definitely one of the better programs in the state, but Bell is nothing to sneeze at. Give your boys some credit, plus I don't know if we are going to see the same caliber team from Central this year as we have in the past few years. They have a lot coming back on defense, but to lose one of the best backs in the state has to hurt you some.

To me, the QB was the most under rated player on that Central team and was the difference maker vs. Bell last year. Wales was thoroughly held in check until the end of the game when Bell had given up and broke a long run that accounted for most of his yards in the game. Also seem to remember Bell moving the ball with relative ease on Central throughout alot of the game, but like Lex Cath, shot them selves in the foot with unforced turnovers when they were in good scoring positions and putting together long drives. Central was outstanding to watch, but IMO, Bell can and could have beat them.

You nailed it! Chemistry and play as a team.

Not like Bell to fumble. If they fix that they win by 2 TD's. BS won 7 games last year and scored a bunch of points last week. Still, Bell should win. If they don't protect the ball though it could be the first 0-2 start in a long time.

Bell Co. will win this game, but if they don't being 0-2 is no big deal. Playing people like this will help at play0ff time. Good Luck to Bell.

Milliken was simply outstanding vs Belfry in the Championship and essentially willed that team to victory.

With that said though, two things makes Central stand out and so tough to beat.

1. Obviously is their awesome defense. Their two LB's Francis and Styles may be #1 and #2 at the position in the state. They are tooo fast to get outside on and rarely miss tackles.

2. I warned Bell of this before their game last year as I have seen it first hand and sure enough it came back to bite Bell County as well. NO team in KY is more dangerous when you turn the ball over then Central. Not only do they typically convert on a short field, but they are the very best team in the state into converting turnovers into returns for TD's. They are the masters of the instant 14 point swing where a team drives deep into their territory and appear to be on the way to a TD, when suddenly they fumble and the ball is being scored on the other end.

Hope everyone has a safe trip up. The team just left headed to Lexington, see everyone there.

Good luck to the boys from Log Mountain! Everyone have a safe trip to Lexington. Bell County by three scores.
