Defense will be the key to who wins this one cause both teams should weild high powered offenses. Whoever can slow the other down enough to get the win. This will be a high scoring affair.:popcorn: Imho.

It looked to me like the receivers ran some bad routs, the timing was off and needs some work. Not to take anything away from the kc DB's, they played a great defensive game. The williamsburg defense was on the field 17 min out of the 20min quarter and only gave up one score. To give up one score in 17 min with an offense as good as Knox central's, says a lot about the jacket defense.

I will not make a prediction on this game but I will say that the Dragon's want this one bad. Everyone thinks that the Harlan team that got beat in the playoffs by Williamsburg is the team they have now and that's simply not true. The Dragon's were down 5 maybe 6 starters on defense that night. The team that we will field next Friday night is the team that beat Williamsburg in the regular season by nearly 3 TD's. Like Williamsburg,Harlan has some new additions to the team that are working out nicely. It will be an out and out war.

I hate to say it but i believe the dragons will have a tough time slowing them down. Hopefully they can control the clock a bit. Im gonna say williamsburg wins 41-20.

If you put that kind of speed on a Class A team in the mountains, then you could be talking about a region champion.

Both teams are loaded with skill player's. That is what makes this game hard to call. I still believe it is going to come down to defense. The team that holds on to the ball will win. There will be no room for fumbles in this game. The team with fewest turnovers and the ability to capitalize on turnovers wins.

Williamsburg wins 40-34 as both teams struggle to stop one another. Williamsburg does it through the air and Harlan on the ground. Harlan has a crucial fumble in the 4th that seals the win for Williamsburg. Great game.

Harlan has 3 main backs that should see action in this game. All three had scores against Pikeville and all 3 are subject to score from anywhere on the field on any play. Pikeville is not the Pikeville from last year but they are a team that shows promise. Thier defense wasn't all that bad. Harlan also has 2 WR's that are threats on every pass play. I've not mentioned the Overbey kid yet. He has really matured over the summer and he is a hoss on offense and a real hammer on defense this year. Mark this down,he comes off the edges and will put tremendous pressure on any QB we could face this year. If he gets a shot at you he will jar your bones,ask the Panther's QB. Coach Luttrell has done a great job with defense over the summer and it is much improved over last season. I'll say it again,Pikeville had some weapons thier selves and aren't that bad a team and our defense played them well. This is not to say that there's not room for improvement,there is. But it is the best D we've had in the last several years at Harlan. I know Williamsburg is a great team and very well could beat us if we don't come too play,but it won't be no easy task.

Was gonna say the same thing about playing at W'burg. You have to be 2 to 3 touchdowns better than them to beat them at their place. One positive is that Ralph Woods is not around to offi"cheat"ciate for them anymore. Because of this and the fact that I think that W'burg and Harlan are fairly evenly matched; I am going to say W'burg by the score of 42-35.

I think the team that wins this game is the one that will be the most physical. After watching the Williamsburg/Jellico game, I tend to question how physical Williamsburg can be. Yes, they have some big kids and some athletic kids, but I honestly thought that Jellico out hit Williamsburg they just did not have the horses to compete. Williamsburg has like over 300 yards passing but what did they have running the football?

Harlan beat Pikeville pretty good and hung 40 on them. Now I know Pikeville is not the Pikeville of years past but they are not Jellico either. Harlan has a little bit of a chip on their shoulder too......

Should be a great Game.....

More Physical team wins by 6-10 points.

Williamsburg lost 4 games last year 3 at home and 2 were against tennessee teams at home. Guess those cheating officials need to do a better job.
