Fever Blisters.....

Alright.....I've never had one before....Dated a girl that would always get them and I would always make fun of her but I somehow kept from getting it from her (I think you can pass it from person to person?)....anyway, now I have one ....guess that's what I get for making fun of her...lol

What is something that I can do to get it to go away? I have the special Chap-stick that is supposed to be specifically for it but I know there has to be some old tricks that people know to use....or some GREAT medicine that I could use....it looks horrible

Use Abreva, i have it and it will make pimples or blisters go away by the next morning. It's great. It costs like $15 a tube, but it's well worth it and I still have mine from last year.

Unfortunately, fever blisters are actually caused by a variation of Herpes. And, as it is with Herpes, you don't ever get rid of them. You just keep them forever, like luggage. You can treat the blister when it pops up and it will go away, but it will always be in your system and they will pop up from time to time.

If you have oral herpes, you probably contacted the virus a long time ago and it has been dormant for a time.

To answer a lot of your questions, check out this website.

There is a few pages of info that will help you understand it.

Other than being a nuisance, oral herpes is not a real big deal, so don't fret over it.

this isnt good beef lol
but earlier in the year i had this horrible fever blister
it killed to open my mouth
and what i did to get rid of it was great
go get some of those Vitamin E gel capsules and cut them out
take the gel from it and place it on the blister
got rid of mine pretty quick
but may not work for u
but give it a try man
got nothing to lose lol

I don't know if I am or not but I'm already on pills (2 horse pills twice a day)...so hopefully that'll stop it....
