Sorry but if they were a mountain team, I would have to look at some schools like hazard, belfry, Johnson central, no way pikeville has three or four.
#10
In my opinion I think Harlan County has a few that could possibly land a spot. Carson Whitehead and Jake Middleton would be my first two.

Actually, Big Five-O could have added a couple more.

Live Maroon Wrote:Actually, Big Five-O could have added a couple more.

Agreed, live maroon. Actually could have. However, there are more teams in all classes that could have added more legit players from their perspective. Truely believe this Pikeville team is fortunate to have as many skilled players with experience returning this season. Just a couple pieces of the puzzle missing and this team will surely will be dangerous, imo.

Pikeville lost three games last year, to two state champs and a state runner-up. Not bad. Don't discredit them.

OL-John Fulton Sr. Tackle
FB-Boss Bryant Sr. Fullback
LB-Boss Byant Sr. Linebacker

Boston Bryant could be one of the top two or three players east of I-75

John Fulton is an overlooked tackle who has gotten stronger and faster in the off season and will be a three year starter.

Nice list Geaux.
Not many people could put a list of this qulity on here off the top of their heads.
From what i see, you definitely didnt put anyone who doesnt deserve to be there. There might be some better ones, but all of these players are definitely worthy of the honor.

Tyson Williams 6'5 245 TE/LB McCreary Central.
#22
Aaron Hall - WR - Pulaski County

This kid is a beast,he don't get the recognition he deserves. Tyson on another team would be all over this these sites. He is a legitimate 6'5" has great hands moves really well for a big man and on defense he is brutal. I have heard several D1 schools are looking at him.

Top 5

1. Bryant RB/LB- Whitley Co.
2. Middleton RB/LB- Harlan Co.
3. Canady-RB/WR/DB
4. Olinger- WR/LB- Hazard
5. Trent-QB/DB- Breathitt Co.

Look for both Bryant and Middleton to have 20+ TD's and 100+ tackles each. I love to watch these two kids play football. They both play with so much heart.

Guys,
All of these players are great. You should vote for them in the other ongoing thread for the Preseason Mountain Top 5.

I agree if this Kid played at Breathitt, Bell or a top program he would be All-State. Does have several D1 Schools Talking to him.

Richard Trent (QB- Breathitt)
Chase Hall (RB-Pikeville)
Tony Messer (LB-Belfry)
Payton Mullins (LB-Belfry) 150+ Tackles last season
Wes Pugh (WR- Pike Central)
Cory Shouse (S- Pike Central/Breathitt?)

From Knox Central

Canady of course should make the list, good arguement for him to be 1st team FS and WR

Shepard DL for KC maybe 1 of the better DL in the mountains this season. He had around 100 tackles last year for KC and played hurt for a while.

Gist RB, if he can get his head on straight he has a ton of talent.

From Bell

Polly RB/LB he was the 2nd leading rusher last year and 2nd leading tackler. On most every other team in the mountains he would have put up huge numbers last year. Now that Davenport has graduated Polly will be the lead back. Special talent and will but up some BIG numbers on both sides of the ball

Hudson OL I have heard some very good things about Hudson who transfered into Bell after Christmas. 6'5" 315 and moves well. He is getting some D-1 looks.

Burnett OL 3 year starter at OT for the bobcats. Played a lot of football at a high level.

Osolonian QB/FS Great athlete, maybe 1 of the better DB's in the state.

Don't sleep on the Bobcats they still have a ton of talent and will still be the class of the mountains.

Bell Co will have ALOT of great athletes this year. A Senior lead team for sure. They also have a transfer kid at the Lineman position.
