Sydney Moss, Player of the Year
The 5-foot-11 daughter of pro football player Randy Moss finished her high school basketball career at Boone County with 2,997 points and 1,062 rebounds, averaging a double-double for her career â 19.6 points and 10.5 rebounds. Moss had 22 double-doubles as a senior, averaging 23.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 4.1 steals and 1.6 blocks, while shooting 52 percent. A Florida signee, she finished her career with 41 points in a state tournament overtime loss to Paul Laurence Dunbar.
Kendall Noble
A 5-11 senior guard, Noble led Perry County Central to a 30-3 record and 14th Region title.
She finished her career with 2,987 points (20th all-time in Kentucky), 1,653 rebounds (eighth), 1,014 steals (first), 916 assists (fifth) and 397 blocks (10th). As a senior, Noble averaged 14.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 5.7 steals and 2.1 blocks.
She has narrowed her college choices to Xavier, Ole Miss, Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky and Northwestern.
April Wilson
A Purdue signee, Wilson capped her high school career by leading Manual to a state championship while being named MVP of the tournament. The Crimsons finished 37-2, winning district and region titles along the way.
Wilson was also named 7th Region Player of the Year. The 5-7½ guard averaged 12.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 4.9 steals and 3.2 assists. She shot 52.4 percent from the field, 41 percent from three-point range and 77 percent at the foul line.
Wilson finished her career with 1,654 points, more than 500 steals and almost 600 assists.
Makayla Epps
The daughter of former University of Kentucky standout Anthony Epps helped Marion County to a state runner-up finish and a 34-5 record.
The 5-10 junior guard averaged 17.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 steals.
She committed to Louisville, along with all-state teammate Kyvin Goodin-Rogers.
Jenna Crittendon
Crittendon, headed for Xavier, averaged 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds in helping the Raiders finish 27-6. Ryle won the 33rd District and reached the semifinals of the 9th Region Tournament. She shared Player of the Year honors in the region with Moss.
A 5-11 guard/forward, the senior shot 52 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from three-point distance and 72 percent at the free-throw line. A five-year starter, Crittendon had 15 double-doubles this season and is Ryle's career leader in points (1,911) and rebounds (886).

The other half of Marion County's dynamic duo, with fellow Louisville recruit Epps, Goodin-Rogers is the daughter of Tick Rogers, a former U of L player who earned Mr. Basketball honors at Hart County.
The 6-1 junior helped Marion County to a 5th Region championship, state runner-up finish and 34-5 record. She averaged 13.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.4 steals.
China Dow
A 5-10 junior guard, Dow scored at least 12 points in every game and totaled 26 double-doubles for Louisville Christian.
Averaging 26.8 points, 11 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.9 steals and 1 block, she helped the Centurions to a 21-13 record and the 28th District championship.
She put up an eye-popping 34 points and 24 rebounds against Lexington Christian.
Jasmine Whitfield
A 5-11 senior guard, Whitfield averaged 22.5 points and 6.7 rebounds. She helped South Oldham to a district title and 8th Region runner-up finish, with an overall record of 27-5. She earned co-Player of the Year honors in the 8th Region, with Owen County's Rianna Gayheart.
A University of Cincinnati signee, Whitfield shot 50.5 percent from the field, 32.8 percent from long distance and 73 percent at the free-throw line.
Kayla Rankin
A 6-0 sophomore, Rankin combined with Noble for a mighty 1-2 punch as Perry County Central won 30 games and a regional crown before falling to eventual champion Manual in the first round of the state tournament. Rankin averaged 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals.
Micah Jones
A Western Kentucky signee, Jones bounced back in a big way after missing her entire junior season at Green County because of an ACL injury.
In her first game back, she scored a school-record 42 points against Barren County. She had a triple-double (25 points, 10 assists, 13 steals) against John Hardin, and finished the season with averages of 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.7 steals. She had 155 assists and only 42 turnovers, shot 52.4 percent from the field (39.1 percent three-pointers) and 77.6 percent from the foul line.
The 5th Region Player of the Year, Jones led Green County to the All "A" Classic and a district title. She is the Dragons' all-time scoring leader with 2,314 points.
