South Carolina has fired head coach Darrin Horn according to several reports.
David Cloninger of GamecockCentral.com broke the news on Twitter:
DCAtGCKCentral A source close to the situation says that coach Darrin Horn has been fired. Eric Hyman will hold a press conference at 1:30 p.m. today.
The move is not a surprise after South Carolina finished a league-worst 2-14 in the SEC and 10-21 overall this season. Last season, the Gamecocks were 14-16 overall and 5-11 in SEC play.

After Devon Downey graduated, SC has been the bottom feeder of the SEC so, this is no surprise to me!

I thought he would do better but SC will always be the bottom of the barrel.

He really should have stayed at Western Kentucky

I agree, I think that Darrin Horn is a Mid-Major coach.

I really thought Horn would be a great fit at a good school. He just never got the athletes to compete in the SEC. So, I would agree, his best bet is at a Mid-Major where the conference does not have super powers

You have to be a recruiter if your going to compete with the likes of UK.
