Owsley started slow and played in small spurts while Breathitt just played consistantly decent the entire game. Owsley played just good enough to stay within 8 -15 but had chances in the end. Wright got hot toward the end but missed three FT's that would of brought the lead to 4 with around a minute to play and momentum was on Owsley's side. Owsley's shot were majority of three pointers all night and never got anything to fall. Spencer came through toward the end with some big shots but Owsley's defense seemed to aggravate her all night. These two teams are pretty evenly matched but seemed that Breathitt scored more points in the paint was the major difference.
Looks like the Handshoe girl for Owsley will be a nice player in Coach Green's system ad she has improved all year while the Cox girl is a very consistant shooter and smart passer. Cox hit a couple three point baskets in a row in the 3rd to push the lead to around 15.

I think the reason Owsley didn't play any better is because they were missing one of their water girls and their girls didn't stay hydrated enough. :hilarious: Where was the other twin water girl?

The reason Owsley lost was they were out manned. Peyton Wright was by far the best player on the floor, however with the exception of the point guard and number 3 and #10. They don have a player that can compete with Breathitt County. The two big girls are to slow to run with Breathitts big bigs and the other blonde girl that plays forward just runs around lost.
