In their previous two meetings, Harlan County won by 24 and 29. I see no reason why this game will be any different. Black Bears win by 20!

Of course I gotta choose the Bears, but I will tell you now that Middlesboro is not the same team as they were at the beginning of the season. They are much improved in execution, and I really like their coach.
Still, Black Bears by 15!!!

Mike Jones is choking again, just lost the district. Can they recover for the region?

Bad loss for HC. I think they'll bounce back just fine. They may have needed brought down a notch! Hopefully, they'll get it together now!

I would have thought after losing badly to Perry Central and Buckhorn, and then barely getting by Leslie and Whitley that they would have already been brought down a notch.

This one was a bigger shocker than Middlesboro beating Bell. Middlesboro returns almost everyone. They have great young talent coming too. Look out district!

Middlesboro led the whole game. In fact untill the 4th quater it really wasnt even a contest. Cameron Rancher and Michael Willison have turned it on and if they can get Donnie Foister in the mix this could be a team thats a season breaker in the region. I'm not sure if it was HC coming out too cocky or if the Boro really was that hot.
After this, I'm super excited to see what this team can in the Arena next week.

Great young talent? Is that on the middle school level?
They are mainly a junior-dominated team. They will probably be a top five team next year, especially after the last two games.
Harlan County has the best young talent in the region.

in tourny settings anytjing can happen, ask barbourville and bell.this years region will be the most exciting in years because unless you are a homer for your team its a wide open tourney.

Brewer,Calton,Caldwell were 12/21 and the rest of the team was 5/24 from the field, that was the story of the game.

Harlan Daily also had Harlan Co. 1-13 from (3). They need at least two of those 3 guards to score big if they want to make a run.

I guess Jed wants Jones to shoot the ball for his players like those Perry Central fans thought Hatcher should.
