Shelby Valley has been Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde this year. Amazing how they can go into Pikeville one week and knock off the Panthers, then the very next week they don't even show up and get embarrassed on their home court by the same exact team.

Really not much to go on here. The two teams split the season series, each winning on its home court. Since this game is at Valley, that's why I pick them. But I'm not very confident in that pick...

Both teams are a Jeckyl and Hyde.... E.R. played well against J.C. and is playing better lately, but everytime I say they are playing better, they go lay an egg..... Valley has played well at times this year, but hasn't shown up for the last couple of games. I don't expect that to be the case Tuesday night. Valley always brings its toughest game come tournament time. E.R. must come ready to play, must be willing to play 4 quarters, and overcome the home crowd and court. I think they will, E.R. 65 Valley 61.

this game is tues. pikeville plays the winner for the district title on thurs. and as for your comments: yes, pikeville has a legitimate shot at winning the region. winning state?

Going by trends.... I think I have to go with East Ridge. They are playing the better basketball and it is at the best time of the year. Valley almost seems like they can not put forth a solid effort anymore. East Ridge should be favored in this one by 4-5 points.

Valley by 6. It's not that I think they are better yet (still too inconsistent), I think they have more to play for, and East Ridge is still figuring out how the intensity will kick up a notch. I wouldn't hate being wrong here, but should be a good game either way it goes. Definitely won't be a blow out.
