(2) Syracuse 52 - (18) Louisville 51

Final.

Wow, Syracuse looked horrible, and Loserville even worse. UofL really, really sucks...and all Peyton Siva showed me tonight is that he can't do shit in the clutch.

Two Big Least teams battling it out.
I hate when these guys on ESPN say Syracuse is a lock for a number one and stuff.
There just mediocre when it comes to decent teams.

Good god this game was awful. If the Big East gets more than five teams into the tourney this year then it will be a damn sham because that conference is garbage. Neither team looked worthy of their ranking in this game IMO. No matter their seed, it would not surprise me at all if Syracuse enjoyed the Sweet 16 from home this year. As for Louisville, they didn't have a single player that I would be comfortable with coming off our bench. Both teams just looked bad, and not the Michael Jackson kind.

Teams do have bad games! This part of playing in a tough conference! Ul couldn't buy a free throw though is why they got beat. Siva wasn't himself tonight either. Maybe the worst game he has ever played. I thought both defenses contributed to the low score though as Jim B said. Haters gonna hate but the big east is tough conference! Bottom line for this game was teams were scrapping. Congrats to cuse for breaking the streak and finally beating the cards. We will get you at the carrier dome though!

How many game winners has he hit in his career? He messed up tonight, yeah. But he has more than his fair share of game winning plays

Louisville went 10 minutes without a field goal in the first half...

And STILL had the lead.

Enough said.

It was a poorly played game.
But I still thought it was a good game lol

I'm under the impression that he's always been a choke late in the game, for the most part. Am I wrong?

I thought UofL played pretty good the first half, but late in the 2nd it seemed like they were letting up. It was their game to lose. But this goes to show that Syracuse struggles against pretty decent teams. (Cincy, Notre Dame, UofL, WVU.) I feel sorry for the ACC teams when they have to schedule Next years mediocre team in Syracuse.

Siva had some excellent clutch plays in games last season, the one I tend to remember was the game where Louisville went in to UCONN and won in double overtime with Siva making every big play down the stretch. He certainly seemed better in the clutch last season though, and overall just a better player last season.
