Seven of Kentucky’s top girls’ basketball teams and several strong programs from outside the state will compete in this weekend’s Raatz Fence/O’Shea’s Basketball Classic at Mercy Academy.

The 10-game event will have three games today, starting at 6 p.m., and seven games on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m.

Manual and Marion County, tied for No. 1 in the state in The Courier-Journal’s Litkenhous Ratings, lead a field of Kentucky teams that also will include No. 4 Perry County Central, No. 5 Mercy, No. 11 Ryle, No. 12 Lexington Catholic and No. 17 Butler.

Perry County Central (17-0), Kentucky’s only undefeated team, will play Mercy at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Another marquee matchup will come at 8:30 p.m. Saturday when Manual faces Twinsburg (Ohio), ranked No. 18 in the nation in the MaxPreps.com Xcellent 25.

Adult tickets will be $6 today and $7 on Saturday. Tickets for senior citizens and high school students will be $5 both days. Preschoolers will be admitted free.

Fri. — Cincinnati Withrow vs. Butler, 6; Ryle vs. Manual, 7:30; Huntington (W.Va.) St. Joseph Central Catholic vs. Mercy, 9

Sat. — Bullitt East vs. Owensboro Catholic, 11 a.m.; Sacred Heart vs. Ryle, 12:30; Lexington Catholic vs. Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame, 2; Butler vs. Huntington (W.Va.) St. Joseph Central Catholic, 3:45; Marion County vs. Cincinnati Withrow, 5:15; Mercy vs. Perry County Central, 7; Manual vs. Twinsburg (Ohio), 8:30
