Sports Xpress Recruiting Xclusive: Camron Justice
#61
The King Wrote:The two are different types of players, but I don't think there is any question that Cameron is a better scorer as a freshman. Elisha was a better ballhandler and he changed the game on the defensive end, going on to become the state's all time steals leader. Cameron is going to put up some huge career stats at this rate. They are both great players, and I'm sure Cameron would love to be as successful at the high school level as Elisha was...

I was actually having the same conversation with someone a couple days ago about these two kids and answered about the same way you did.

I think Camron is a more complete player at this point, and definitely has size to his advantage as a freshman. With that being said, Elisha became probably my favorite player to watch play in 15th Region history by the time he was a senior. And this region has had some great ones in the past. I hope Camron gets to be every bit as good as those legends.

Vundy, your a troll. Thats about as low as I've seen on here.

We finally have a player in eastern ky that can actually play and has potential to be a very good division 1 player. This kid is head and shoulders better that E Justice ever thought about being. E Justice was a mid major player and it shows now that hes at UL. Cameron will be a major D1 player and will play.

So many of you posters get on here and hype a kid up and they are just average players and appear good because of the lack of competition in the mountains, but this kid can flat out play and should he continue to work hard will become one of the best to ever come from eastern ky.

I think EJ has faired pretty well at Louisville actually...........Camron is aweomse, but his D is no where near D1 level right now.

Your getting a little ahead of yourself there pal...Camron is good, but Elisha has made a lot of good players look bad. There's nothing wrong with complimenting them both when comparing them as players...its called the high road and you need to learn to ride it.

Everyone wanted rule changes and more freedom to cuss and other stuff. Posts like the ones above are allowed to be used/said because of the new freedoms everyone wanted.

People like me, that are not the biggest fans of the cussing and super-freedoms allowed have our hands tied. We are not really allowed to do anything.

I warned everyone that crying for more freedoms and to allow garbage, means that stuff like this will happen.

In the past before everyone cried for super-freedom, I would have deleted that post in a heart beat. Nobody really likes that though. Sadly, in life we cannot have our cake and eat it too.

I'm not sure it's a good idea to allow anything goes kind of freedom. If you do that then it turns into a Topix format, and we all know how bad that site can get. I have been on other sites similar to this one that could be a little too strict and were constantly suspending members, but you can go in the opposite direction as well. You can't have the tail wagging the dog. At the least, kids should be off limits to name calling and personal attacks in the high school forums.

Let's wait and see how he turns out. He is good right now, but Elisha is a proven commodity with a state championship and a D-1 scholarship at Louisville. Injuries have sidelined him somewhat in his career there, but he is a very good player.

I have also seen players be as good their freshman years as they are as seniors, particularly redshirt players. They don't improve all that much in their remaining high school years. Not saying Camron will be in that category, but it has happened with other star freshmen athletes. That's why Billy Clyde was treading dangerous waters when he began offering schollys to junior high and freshmen kids. We now see how most of them turned out, playing for small time programs

I understand what you are saying about the added freedoms.... however,

The rules state:

Six Member Rules

1. Don't threaten or personally attack another person on this site.
2. Don't reveal personal identities or other confidential information about anyone.
3. Don't be a racist, homophobic, or sexist.
4. Don't post pornography, links to pornography, and/or any other NSFW content in any images/avatars/signatures.
5. Don't advertise competitor or commercial sites via text or in any images/avatars/signatures.
6. Obey all applicable country, state, and federal laws when using this site.

Rule #1 was clearly violated as a 15 year old kid was personally attacked, multiple times.

And the bad thing about it, a moderator was the violator. Even if the rules have been loosened, mods should still show restraint with their posts. That's just my opinion. Set an example for others to follow.

First off I'm not even close to being your PAL you freak! Eisha was a decent high school player in eastern ky PERIOD! I tell it like it is. If you don't like it don't read it PAL:hilarious:

Thats a first...you're trying to insult me by calling me something that you named yourself for this site.

Maybe I am insulted, not sure really.

But you do have me wondering which number is lower...your age or your IQ.

I think that you are just jelious of the kid. If you are an adult you need to grow up and quit downing a kid. But if you are a kid too, grow up and don't down his athletic abilities.

Ive always said he wasn't mod material.

That may be one of Cams best features. He is the average age for his grade and is still growing and maturing. There are several freshmen in Pike Co that others use to compare to Cam but they are 2 years older. I think some of them are much closer to their ceiling than he is.

Because only DECENT high school players win Mr. Basketball and the Gatorade player of the year......and the state tourny MVP...and is under a D1 coach such as Pitno...I forgot thats just a decent career ....Gimme a break..

I think that people should use the golden rule on this topic. Treat people how you want to be treated. If it were your son or daughter getting attacked online how would you feel? Just think about it before you attack a good family.

That's right....Decent and only decent!! He may have won those things but the bottom line is he's not good enough to play major D1 bb. Cam Justice will be good enough to play major D1 bb and he may not win all the things the e justice did but he will be a much better player. just wait and see hotshot
