It's no question, Tom Brady...but Manning is not far behind and IMO Big Ben is growing fast on him.

Peyton Manning, the most cerebral quarterback I've ever seen. The guy has a photographic memory.

I'm the biggest Manning fan that you'll ever find, but I do understand that we have got to watch two of the greatest players of all-time in this era...
How can anyone say someone is wrong if they pick Manning or Brady... There is no wrong answer here...
1A- Peyton Manning - Best regular season QB of all-time
1B- Tom Brady - Most Clutch player ever
IMO...
The two greatest players ever........

^^And? Tom and the Pats have won 3, with probably less talent than the Colts have had this last decade.
I really don't think Manning ties with Brady when the topic is the Best QB of this era...there's a reason Brady has been to 4 and won 3, and Manning has been to 2 and won 1. Brady and the Pats were in their way. Tom Brady is the Best QB of our era, hands down. Manning is a hell of a QB and has the best mind in football, but Brady's accomplishments and record outweigh Manning's...For now.

lol...then it's obvious why you think it's impossible to think Brady is better. You said it yourself, Manning is the best regular season QB of all time. Do championships not count now when debating players or what?

I disagree. Patriots lose Brady for a season, the back-up wins 11 games.
Colts lose Manning and are lucky to win two games.
I understand one back-up was better than the other, but that backup isn't great.
There were some legit hall-of-famers on those Patriots teams. There might be 3 at the most from the Colts teams.

I will say this: If Brady wins this Super Bowl, he takes the spot as the GREATEST Quarterback of all time.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where was that talent at this year???????????
Second best player on ANY of Peyton's team is a DE (Freeney) that can just pass rush
Welker better then Reggie Wayne so don't even try it.....
Gronk better then Clark so don't even try it....
Brady had maybe one of the best Def's in the league when he won the super bowls...........
And lets not forget he had Randy Moss- one of the greatest WR's on all-time

I could not agree more. Manning is the best ever and if he's on those Patriot teams with that defense they had when Brady won titles, they would have won 4 or 5 by now. Also, let's not forget spygate which most likely led to those titles. Also, Bradshaw won 4, Montana won 4, and how many championships did Bart Starr win? More than anyone. In a sport where there are so many players on each team, it would be silly to rate the best player by championships. If you want it that way then Bart Star would be the best. Peyton Manning showed this season by being out, just how much he's carried the load ever since he's been in Indy and shame on the Colts for not putting better talent around him all these years. He's the best quarterback in the history of pro football and it's not even close. The year he threw 49 td's, he could have thrown 55 or 60 if he kept chucking it like Brady did at the end of games, instead, he was on the bench at the end of a lot of games and only played a couple of series in the final 2 games that year.

I know 11 wins sounds awesome, but when you win 16 the year before, and make the SB, it's a huge difference.
They didn't even make the playoffs without Brady, coming off a team, 1 win away from perfection.
Huge difference between Brady and Cassel.
I'm actually insulted so many people said Manning. He's great, but you got to win when it counts to be considered the greatest.

Give me a break. All QB need good players. Manning and Brady can set in the pocket for 10 minutes and not have to move. Brees was a nobody until the Saints, Looked how many times he was forced to scramble in SD apposed to NO. A System thing. THERE ALL IN GREAT SYSTEMS. Football is a team sport. YOu pull this manning has noone bull shit. Well ill tell you something. He didnt catch the ball his damn self. And neither does brady. These QB's have had more talent around them than some QB's ever dream for. You dont think rodgers will continue to put up big numbers? He has a great team, just like Brady, And Brees. The colts have a whole new coaching system, more injuries in the league than anyone. of course they was gonna suck either way. And did nothing to bring a QB in. Because they WANTED to lose. And they was smart by doing it. Rodgers and Ben is a system thing. Give me a BReak, ITS ALL A SYSTEM thing. IT'S A FREAKING TEAM SPORT.

Winning titles and making clutch plays is huge for me.
Tom's the clutchest QB since Joe Montana. He's had a few of the greatest regular seasons ever too.
Peyton has choked more than come through in the crunch, but he is the greatest regular season QB ever.
Brees and Rodgers, both have one ring, many big plays, clear third and fourth of this generation.
Big Ben has had something these other QB's have not have for the most part; a great defense. BUT in the last SB, he won it for them late in that game. A guy with 2 SB's has to be in the top 5.

How many games did the Colts win last season? How many did they win this season? Isn't that an 7-8 win drop?
Even Manning and Brady have not been able to repeat a perfect regular season, so Cassel cannot be expected to be perfect. You say did not make the playoffs, while true, is a little skewed. How many teams win 11 games and do not make the playoffs? The last two seasons an 8-8 team and a 7-9 team made the playoffs. Almost any season a team with 11 wins, gets in. He played well enough to get in.

Championships matter. If you think they don't, you think that because the player you're partial to has none or few championships. Go ahead and deny it, but it's the truth and we all know it. The point of the game is to win when it counts. If you don't do that, how in the world can you be considered better than another guy that is as close to equal as it gets in every other category?
You guys are acting like I am judging QB's or anyone else by only championships...of course I'm not, but I take it into account. And when you take the championships into account with how close they are in skill, Brady wins. He made the plays to get past Manning and the Colts and win those Superbowls...Manning hasn't. Saying championships don't matter when talking about the greatest QB of all-time is as dumb as saying only championships matter...
I don't know how anyone could think Manning is better. "The best regular season QB" is much better of an award than I thought it'd be, I guess..
