Saints @ 49ers (NFC Divisional Round)
What a call. Smith keep it around the left end for a touchdown
Kyle Williams and Joe Staley got the two blocks needed for the score
Holy Cow. Great call. 27-yard TD run by Alex Smith untouched
49ers actually would have been better off if Alex Smith had taken a knee there before the goal line
Saints will have 2:11 to score a TD
the D plays good all day and just blow it at the last
They will review it, but he's in. 23-yard run.
Trust in Brees now...them scoring before the 2-minute warning was the best thing that could have happened to us, other than them not scoring
No matter what happens, I'm so proud of our defense. The 9er's have a very good D but the turnovers killed us. One more Brees miracle???? PLEASE
Nobody expected Smith to run, I don't even think Smith did
What a call! Sack of walnuts by Niners!!! TD! Wow! Misidirection and smith goes opp
Gore stopped on two-point conversion attempt. Saints down 29-24 with 2:11 and one timeout left
What more can you ask for as a football fan that seeing #Saints and Drew Brees needing a TD against this #49ers D with 2:11 left
Four downs the rest of the way
I wonder if that audible. The Saints completely overloaded the right side with a blitz and the Smith just took it to the left on a pure run play. It was 28 yards by the way. We'll try to find out how that play developed after the game.
Alex Smith is the 4th player since 1940 to have a TD run of 28+ yds in 4th qtr or OT that gave his team the lead
ne thing the Saints do not do well is run kickoffs back. They were 28th in that during the season. Now they will start the drive at their 12. great tackle by Colin Jones
LAST PLAY 1st and 10 at NO 12: (Shotgun) D.Brees pass short left to D.Sproles to NO 22 for 10 yards (D.Goldson). Caught at NO 10. 12-yds YAC

Drew Brees #9 QB
CMP ATT YDS TD INT

Darren Sproles #43 RB
ATT YDS AVG LG TD
3 3 1
Saints Darren Sproles just set NFL postseason record with 14 receptions.
Justin Smith with another hit on Brees
Saints are running a lot of zone blitzes, which means they drop a linemen and rush a linebacker or a defensive back. It has been effective.
LAST PLAY 2nd and 10 at NO 22: (Shotgun) D.Brees pass short right to M.Colston ran ob at NO 34 for 12 yards.

Drew Brees #9 QB
CMP ATT YDS TD INT
38 61 392 3 2

Marques Colston #12 WR
REC YDS AVG LG TD
9 136 15.1 31 1
The 49ers need to get Ray McDonald out of the game, he can't rush (hamsting).
Way to go Jimmy Graham
LAST PLAY 1st and 10 at NO 34: (Shotgun) D.Brees pass deep middle to J.Graham for 66 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Caught at SF 42. 42-yds YAC

Still a lot of time

Holy Cow. Graham goes 66 yards and the Saints take the lead [
What a play by Jimmy Graham. He did the same thing Vernon Davis did in the first half, Patrick Willis had great coverage, but it was thrown to his back shoulder. 66-yard touchdown. Alex Smith will have to do it again.
proles wide open on 2-point conversion and Saints lead 32-29 with 1:37 left
