Sophomore forward Nicole Kiernan posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds as Newport Central Catholic (10-3) beat Holy Cross (7-8) 48-29 in the Ninth Region All-A Classic semifinals at Newport.

NewCath senior guard Aubrey Muench was held scoreless in the first half, but freshman Michaela Ware took over with eight of her 10 points in the first two quarters. After halftime, Muench returned to the lineup to score 10 points.
