What happened to Allen Central in this tourney. I thought that they would be a front runner considering 2 of their players start on varsity.

I'd say their 2 freshman didn't play in the tournament due to playing Varsity. I'm not sure on this, but if a freshman starts on varsity, they are not allowed to play any other level (ie JV or freshman)

Hmmm. Sorry about that. I thought there was a rule about that, but I guess I was wrong. :?

It has never been a rule.
More of a gentlemen agreement.
A coach can play SR's on JV if they choose I have seen it done several times, in all sports by most schools.
I went to a game this year saw a jv team play that started 3 seniors, it was not basketball but it was floyd co team.

What people are forgetting is that is how bad AC varsity is, they are starting younger kids, and besides so many have quit thats about all they have. It would be different if they were starting on a good team and AC has only won 3 games. BL is the only other team in 58th that freshman get a great deal of playing time. Pburg freshmen are not even on varsity and few for SF but with very little playing time.
