Final from the Expo Center in Pikeville. Magoffin missed their last 4 free throws. They led 56-52, but Rowe hit a 3 and, after the last of those free throws was missed, Pikeville scored on an inbounds play from Rowe to McAnallen after Rowe was blocked with 5.9 seconds left.

Tough, tough game. Will Branham held to 6 points, couldn't buy a shot. But solid contributions from others. Worth the ticket price tonight.

Did not deserve this one. But gonna have some of those. Survive and advance at this point.

Rowe finally hit a shot when it really mattered and great call by Coach Williams to get a look with under 4 for McAnallen.

That he is. I was more impressed with the kid who kept nailing 3's from the corner/wing, smooth shot. Magoffin definitely is a team no one really wants to see come tourney time.
