This was a good game, event though the final score doesnt show it...Magoffin played a nice game and Conley from Central is a good player

Yea Conley is a good player, they just couldn't get anything to fall right tonight. The refs also made some very bad calls both ways. JC will be as tough as Magoffin in a couple yrs. Especially as their young players step up.

I don't think this was a very big suprise its going to be hard for any 15th region team to beat the Hornets.

I really thought the lady eagles would make a game of it, but I was wrong. The lady hornets have to many weapons, and they push the ball on every possession. I kenw the game was over when the lady hornets put up 27 points in first quarter, and Manns wasn't even on the floor. After watching this game I have to conclude that the only team in the 15th Region that can beat the lady hornets is the lady hornets.

Does anyone know why Manns was on the bench the entire first half?

I thought she was injured until I saw the way she played in the second half.

Central made a run last night and got the lead down to 10 then all of the sudden Manns went off, hit two 3's and and two 2's and I think like maybe 3-4 freethrows, all of this in about 2 minutes and got the lead back to 20, She's a solid player

Well if it was her birthday wouldnt you play her alot? IMO if the coach was thinking right he would have played her the entire first half as well along with herin the second too. If he would have played her the first half Magoffin wouldnt have had to worry about Central coming back due to the fact that they would have been 40 or 50 points by then!

I was real impressed with the defensive intensity of the Lady Hornets. I guess they probly had a total of 20 steals and freshman Ashley Hall probally had half of them. Calloray Howard got the Lady Hornets going early. The Lady Eagles put up a good fight in late in the game, but in the end the Lady Hornets and their Defensive pressure was to much for them to handle.

How come Emily Wireman wasn't gaurding Calloray? That just seems strange that Philip Wireman didn't have his 6'0 center gaurding the "Best Post Player" in the region.

Excatally right, they lady Hornets are better than any team in the region and they have sure proved it. Congratulations girl over the your victory, just like I thought the girls would have the lady eagles tired when Brittany Manns came in to play the 2nd half and she just exploded on them, could game Britty and Happy 18th Birthday.....love ya

emily wireman prolly wasn't gaurding Calloray because calloray is much quicker and more expereniced... it wouldn't have been a good match up in my opinion.

The reason that Brittany Manns didn't get to play in the 1st half is because she got into some trouble in the Bowling Green tournament over Christmas break.
