Texans expose the OLD Ravens defense just like the Bronco's did to the OLD Steelers defense

I think the Ravens will win, but I hope the Texans pull off the upset.

Baltimore 24-10.

Totally agree. Might start off descent but Ravens to much for him in the end.

Which Joe Flacco will show up, is the million dollar question.

Not enough passing offense for the Texans in this one.

JJacoby Jones gets the award for more bonehead play of the playoffs by trying to handle the punt off the bounce with a Raven defender in his face.
The Ravens will get the ball on the two yardline and are set up for an easy score now after the mistake.

The Ray Rice comes short first down and the QB sneak comes up short on second down and now the Ravens will have a third down play to try and score from the one yard line.

Flacco to Wilson, and the #Ravens have the first major of the game! They take a 7-3 lead!

Houston Texans 3, Baltimore Ravens 0

Jones gave them that TD. Simply stupid to touch the ball when Raven defenders are right there in his face
01-15-2012, 02:57 PM
A play action pass to TE Kris Wilson will lock up the easy score as Wilson was able to sneak out behind the Texans defense to get wide open for QB Joe Flacco.
This TD was handed to Baltimore on a silver platter by Jacoby Jones after the muffed punt

Texans are OK though. I still think they can score against the Ravens

For Houston they cannot afford turnovers. Especially with the defense they are facing. Points off of turnovers are immediate momentum killers and now the Texans will look to get that momentum back on offense as the kick off is returned just passed the 20 yardline.

Two straight plays yield little results as the Texans are faced with a third and seven.
On third down T.J. Yates throws a nice pass to WR Kevin Walter but the ball bounces off his chest and falls incomplete.
This will force Houston to punt.

The punt puts Baltimore on their own 40 yard line and they will have decent field position.
A score here for Baltimore would not end the game by any means but an early lead at home will make it much more dificult for Houston to win in a tough road environment.

Rice takes it right up the gut for a physical six yards and then Anquan Boldin beats second year CB Kareem Jackson after a very nice back shoulder throw from QB Joe Flacco is able to beat the pretty decent covereage from Jackson.
That will be good for first down as the ball is now in Houston territory.

Ravens continue to get very good first down yardarge as Ray Rice gets six yards on first down again.
Flacco then goes deep to the end zone to Torrey Smith but Johnathan Joseph breaks it up with a nice leaping tip of the pass.

FG Baltimore!
Rookie LB Brooks Reed is able to get to QB Joe Flacco and force the fumble but again Baltimore recovers their own fumble to retain possession.
That play forces Baltimore to settle for the FG and just three points.
