Worst in game coach in college football. If Georgia Loses to Mich St it's all on the coach. He is terrible .

Theres no way he could be the worst.
Joker is still the head coach at UK

Georgia was up. Then Richt's vagina started hurting. Play not to lose instead of to win. You see it all the time. He took the aggressiveness right out of his team

If you watched that game you would take Joker in a heartbeat.

I love Richt, but it might be time to let him loose. That was pathetic today. GA was a 2+ touchdown better team.

Michigan State really must have been awesome to put together an 85 play, 10 yard drive (read the article lol).
As for Richt, I do think he is too conservative sometimes, but comparing him to Joker is extreme. It's a lose-lose situation no matter what style of ball you play. A conservative coach "should be more aggressive so that is team don't lose their aggressiveness and let the other team back and the game." An aggressive coach "should be more conservative because his aggressive style could end up costing the team if they throw an interception, etc. when all they need to do is run the ball."
The bottom line is that you have to know what style to play and when to play it. Today was a day Richt should have been more aggressive. I don't know what to say about Richt and his job status - whether he stays or goes, he is one heck of a class act, that is for sure.

Yeah, I cant believe they let MSU come back and win that game. In the 1st OT, you got to play to win the game. UGA ran one play got maybe 2yards, than on 2nd down kneel the ball in the middle of the field to make an easier kick, and than they decided to kick on 3rd down which in result was a missed kick. I didnt agree with that, but to say Richt isnt a good coach is crazy, hell GA started this season 0-2 and faught back to win the SEC east and had a lead at halftime on LSU in the SEC championship game. No way, GA should let go of Richt, and if they did I;m sure he wont be long before he will be on a sideline somewhere else. Richt is a class act, I would take him in a heartbeat at UK.

I'd definitely take Richt over Joker, for sure.
Wonder if we could be even the SLIGHTEST possibility if he gets fired next year to hire him?

I cant see UGA letting him go, unless he has a down year next season. If they return all their underclassmen they should be a preseason top 5 team.

That was beyond conservative.

I could see them letting him go. Before this year, he strung together 3-4 straight disappointing seasons. Hope not, he's my favorite coach in the SEC.

I would love to have Richt at UK. One of the nicest guys in the whole country.

A lot of schools better be glad your not the A.D. LOL!!!!
If your team doesn't win a championship you would fire the coach every year.
Because they would suck in your eyes.

Not True. I would only ask for a championship every other year.
Im not greedy.

Agreed, he definitely gets next year, but he will be pressured to win his side of the bracket and take the Dogs to a BCS game

I agree that they should have beat MSU. However, shouldn't even be a discussion as to whether they should keep him or not...he accomplished a division title in the best college football conference and played the #1 team tough for the SEC championship. Not to mention, wasn't this supposed to be a down year for them anyway?
01-03-2012, 06:17 PM
Georgia is a much more talented team than Michigan State, no way they should have let this one get away. That being said, congrats to the Sprartans, they hung in there early and came up big late.

Not trying to move the ball in 1st OT was insane. A 43-yd FG is no way a sure thing, and their kicker had already missed TWELVE FGs this year. Stupid, and you can be sure UGA fans are mad.
