Congrats PCC all-stars

Lake Co, Tn is a small Class A school. Big win.

Congrads to PCC!!

Yes it was a BIG WIN. Lake County would beat anyone in the 14th Region by 25 or 30. They were athletic as could be. They are one of the top teams in Tennessee in Class A. Perry beat 3 teams in Florida that would of killed everyone in the 14th Region. Great job PCC All Stars. Very impressive wins in Florida.

And now for the rest of the story. If you are stating that Lake County would beat anyone in the 14th Region by 25 or 30, I would have to say Bull@#$!. On 12-20-11, Lake County beat a mediocre Ballard Memorial team(record is 6-8)from Western Kentucky by a score of 67-49. On 12-27-11, they beat a lackluster Somerset team by 46-39. The Briarjumpers record is 5-7. Two very unimpressive wins. I have been to the Daytona Beach tournament on more then one occasion and it is usually one of the weaker tournaments to play in, it just has great perks. There is a least 10 girls holiday tournaments in Kentucky that are stronger then the Daytona tournament. Maybe more. I am not taking anything away from Perry Central as they are the team to beat in the 14th region as they have some of the best talent from a multi county area but to put on here that they achieved something special by winning a subpar tournament in Florida is a joke.

Well Perry beat Leslie by 50. So go figure. Those were different style teams than what Perry is used to playing. Kell, Georgia had a girl 6'4, another 6'2, and their guards were about 5'9. They were dominately black kids. Very athletic. Something we dont see around the 14th Region very often. Atlantic High School had a girl that will be signing with Florida that was about 6'2 that could play any position on the floor. Their team was mostly black athletes also. Very athletic. I dont know why Lake County didnt do well against the Kentucky teams they played in the past. Lake County was very small and their 5 starters were black kids. They were quick as lightning. There were more good teams in this tournament that I have ever saw in the past. Dont know how good LCC is but hopefully them and PCC will play soon and we will see how each of them stack up.

Not trying to sound racist or anything by saying the word "black" so dont blow things out of proportion. If PCC was playing green aliens, I'd say they were playing green aliens. Those teams PCC played were VERY BIG and ATHLETIC except for Lake County, but they were ATHLETIC as could be and played hard for 32 minutes.

According to MaxPreps.com Kell, GA is ranked 88th in the state and 3509 in the nation, Atlantic, FL is ranked 14th in the state and 681 in the nation, and Lake County, TN is ranked 28th in the state and 876 in the nation. Perry County Central is ranked 4th in Kentucky and 225 in the nation.

Saying a team could beat anyone in the 14th region isn't saying much. I'm not saying they are all bad teams but the 14th region is not exactly a powerhouse region.

I would say their wins in Florida were good wins but not great wins. Also, just because a team is black and athletic doesn't mean they are a good team.

U are right. They were good wins. Beating Manuel, Mercy, and Marion County would be GREAT wins.

Good win PCC!
