#2

SLOPPY, SLOPPY, SLOPPY!!!!!! This game was HORRIBLE on both parts, neither team could buy a basket, I believe between both teams they added on another 1,000 square feet to Jim Booths house in Martin County, lol, UGLY. Both teams turned the ball over, well I lost count they turned it over so many times, not forced TO's either, it was aweful. Very physical game tonight and bout got out of hand, especially at the end, I'm not gonna go into details about that little incident, all I'm gonna say about that is STUPIDITY on ALL of those that were involved. Slone and May, both top 5 players in the region, couldn't throw one in the ocean. JD VanHoose played his worst game I have seen him play since he was in 8th grade.

Man you need to get a life and realize both teams played their hearts out. Not everyone can shoot as perfect as you. Everyone has their off nights, keep your heads up( both teams)

Not a fun game to watch. A lot of showboating with the behind the back passes and all kinds of bull. Paintsville just isn't a smart team right now. If they don't play stupid, they would have won by more than 20.

Very true, but obviously they didn't have to tonight.

  I'm sure the score was 76-66 but who cares a win is a win.Sheldon Clark played the worst game they have played all year and was shoved around by the Tigers and got tired at the end.Things will be different when the Tigers come to Martin Co. they will not have the police to escort students out over nothing and we will not be pushed around on our turf!!!!#34 should have been tossed for flagrant fouls, back talking the refs etc...... #45 is a hot head that needs to be disciplined.I hope the madman that was on the stage has a better attitude and behavior when they play again or he might be listening to the game from the radio in his automobile. BMR needs to get a handle on his team's attitude!!!

I need to get a life, lol... I never said they didn't play their hearts out, and you are right about one thing, not everyone can shoot as perfect as me :#1: . An off night shooting doesn't cause all the stupid turnovers, Paintsville played like they were in a race against time the whole game instead of playing smart and at a good pace like they did in the Hoops Classic, and that lead to all the UNFORCED TO's.

I'm not gonna argue with ya, I was just giving my opinion and outlook on the game tonight. With that bein said, I'm headin to Pikeville for a goin away party for a friend of mine :beerwez:

The only reason Paintsville shoved them was because they shoved first. You can't sit there and say Brandon May played fair, he played dirtier than a pair of my boxers after a long night of drinking. As goes for the rest of them, they aren't the baby tigers any more and when they start getting shoved around they'll shove back. IDK what 15 was thinking, out of all the people to get into their face, he tried to get into the one of the Gold Glove Boxer. I hope you aren't trying to say that people will try to cause problems automatically the next time they meet. I really think this can be a great rivalry without all the pushing and shoving, in other words the bullshit dirty stuff. Still IMO they both are Top 4 in the region, and hopefully the next game will be more interesting because tonight was probably the worst I seen Paintsville play all season, and the worst I've seen Sheldon Clark play. Best of luck to the top teams in the 57th the rest of the way.

I agree on all counts except for JD I thought he played pretty good. SC is not the most talented team but when they play hard like they did in the 2nd half they can compete w/ anyone.

Congrats Paintsville

Pretty sure Pugh tackled Juan Carlos early that started everything it's not dirty it's physical. May threw his body around tonight and was very physical thats part of what makes him a good player. Williams threw an elbow and played physical too I have no problem with that as long as they know next time down their getting one on the chin. BMR gave May a hug after the game, would he do that if he thought May was playing dirty? The nonsense that happened w/ May involved a hothead and his hothead dad I don't have to say the name and I guarenteee you everyone on here knows who I'm talking about.

Good try SC, u will get them when the game is played at ur house nobody can win at P-Ville
#18

Both father and son have never been anything more than complete embarrassments to the Paintsville Independent School System.
#23
what type of physical confrontations happened at the game to nite?
#24
I'll disagree with you adidas on that. Father and son are respectable people. The father is protective of his son, rightfully so all parents are. There is a time and place for all that, just thinking that tonight wasn't the best place to display that. Honestly some parents don't care what their children do, I had a good friend that had parents like that and needless to say he is no longer with us, God bless his soul. I would rather have an overprotective parent any day of the week. Sure both are short tempermented people, but to say they are complete embarrassments is an OVERSTATEMENT. Bundy plays hard, and I will give him props on that. And about May, there is a difference between being a physical player and a dirty player. I can't begin to count the times I seen him run into someone while driving the lane with no legit intentions on making the shot, or seeing him throw elbows for a loose ball when he is standing several feet away from it. Or when he makes a pass and a defender is still on him, popping them in the mouth with an elbow, that definately isn't clean and sure isn't sportsmanlike. I think that if he played hard, and not dirty he would be hands down the best player in the 15th, but the little things that he does that are uncalled for and not acting like a class act athlete like I know he can is what shuns people away from respecting his talent. He's a Senior, and he needs to be the leader and act like it not only by his talent but also by his actions and getting the team to follow. I was on the stage when Pugh ran into 15 he hit him with his left shoulder, but the right arm was going towards the ball, clean play and I don't mind that. Sure Coach Runyon gave May a hug after the game, who can't respect what that boy has done for the SC program, but after the way he handled himself during the course of the game, some of that respect that he has gained for him has bound to have been lost.

I wont thrash this back and forth with you, but I will respectfully disagree with you. There has been a very, very long history of the two indivuals in question going way back to the son's early elementary days. I guess that you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but neither have been respectable people as far as I am concerned. Just read the accounts in the back issues of the local newspapers, there is plenty there to read there if I need to go further.

I am sure that if you polled most people that are associated with PHS, they would like to say see ya to the pair of them. That kind of stuff is just not needed.

Good win for Paintsville

Until you've walked in their shoes, don't be so hasty to judge.

As for last night's game... it was played in a padded cell, what did you expect was going to happen?:big grin:

Good game. The last 20 seconds needed not to have happened, but then it's over. Move on to the next matter you have absolutely no control over, yet are compelled to make comment on.:Geek:

And I'm sure May is worried about what kind of respect BMR has for him. PLEASE!!!! SC does not like P'ville and vice-vresa. The game was physical. May did not give as many cheap shots as you let on. He put his body in the screen on Pugh, but that is not the same as being dirty that is being overly competitive. May did get a little frusterated, but he was being held on the offensive end of the floor all night. That is being dirty too my friend. I like how you can speak of the respect Runyon has for people. Must be nice to be able to read peoples mind. Runyon has coached lots of less classy players than May (3 of whch are on the Tiger wall of Fame). You are showing your true knowledge about basketball, or should I say LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. It is people like you that give Paintsville a bad name. Most P'ville people are nice intelligent people, but a few fans like youi ruin that for all of them.

Walked in their shoes? Are you for real? Maybe you need to step out of the Glee Club seats for a moment.

All people have the option of taking whatever direction they choose in their lives. Some voluntarily choose to do the right things over the period of their lives, some CHOOSE to not go that route. But it is all voluntary my friend. It's not like this is the first time anything has ever happened like this with this bunch, and it is not the first time by a long shot, that they have made total asses of themselves. It is a reoccuring event that seems to happens over and over. Let's see if someone has enough backbone to see that it dont happen again.

I missed all the big drama between Bundy and one of the SC players. Someone please tell me what happened and why his dad started yelling. I always miss that kind of stuff Sad
