Found it par the course that the ashland radio crew was making jokes on how ashland didnt have a foul called on them in the second half till middle of 4th quarter. I guess it was just another Home game for ashland. :hilarious:

I heard them laughing about the foul calls also. Rowan will have to play against 5 tomcats and 3 black and white skunks tonight. :dontthink

If all follows the usual pattern, it will be five and one (no need for three when one does the job well). But then, after all these years, everyone in the 16th Region, including honest Ashlanders and the other basketball officials, is aware of Ashland's trump card.

When Rowan Co.takes the floor with Ashland, I don't think the trump card will be there. It is my understanding that the coach for Rowan has no problem with the trump calling their games as long as they are not playing Ashland. Now that says quite a bit. May not be a bad idea for GRC to think long and hard about this should they reach the finals against Ashland....

Already played Ashland at Ashland and won by 2....but our 3 leading scorers had 3 fouls in the 2nd quarter and had to sit. We know too well about Ashlands rep. and their home court advantage/home cooking. Knew that those 3 would have at least 2 fouls when they stepped off the bus.

Any word on who won the Ashland/ Rowan Co game?
