BL showed they are still the best team in 58th district

This game was out of hand pretty quick. Meade came out extremely hot, believe he had 21 at half time. Roberts started slow but came on strong when he did. Case is use to the speed of the high school level now and its starting to show in his aggressiveness on the floor which can only help the Bobcats even more. Hale continues to be a very talented player inside doing the dirty work you have to do in order to be a success. The bench is deep and talented as well, three players coming off BL's bench, Luster, Daniels and Rogers, could probably start on any other team in district and probably for over half the teams in the region. Getting Hamillton back in Jan. will only make this team stronger and deeper which could pose a problem to teams whose talent level falls off after the starting five. Really balenced game tonight, open man got the shot most of the night and we really attacked the rim. Big statement tonight for the Bobcats!

As for Allen Central, I thought BL did a great job slowly Braxton down and never letting him get going. Was impressed that a few other players, Jarrell was the one whose name stands out, stepped up and hit some big threes or the half time lead Betsy Layne had could've been closer to 40 instead of 30.

This Betsy Layne team is becoming a really good team. Each game you can see they are getting the message of playing great defense and sharing the ball. Coach Newsome pulled off the press at halftime or the score could have been a lot more lopsided. Dylan Meade is a threat from anywhere on the floor. He is becoming an all around player thanks to the coaches at Betsy Layne. They have the best coach and assistants in our region I believe. All the players have made a tremendous improvement since the first game. This could become a team that will be the toughest win in our region if not already. This team is very fast and very talented.

We really don't know how good BL is because they have played the easiest schedule in East Kentucky up to this point. They haven't beaten or even played a team with a winning record yet, and the rest if the schedule is full of cupcakes. Wake me up when they stop beating up on awful teams.

Male and Greenup are combined 9-14 on the season with some bad losses. Bryan Station and Russell arent even on the schedule. Piarist, Phelps, all others ....cupcake city. Easiest schedule so far in the 15th

Put these teams that you have mentioned on the Betsy Layne schedule and see how other 58th district teams would have turned out.
