Well, I guess you could say I said "In his face" was stupid EXACTLY like his comment on FB/Twitter that it was a "late" hit that took him out is stupid. He was HIT, stopped, and the defense of Belfry did their job, stopping the run. As far as him getting 100, I guess that dear sir we will never know!

Well, let's see. He had 2 carries for -1 yards. That means if he had 20 carries, he'd have had -10 yards.

He may have had that 100, but I think Belfry was pretty well up to the challenge and ready for him. Been nice to see, but it's the past now.

Most certainly... Wales is such a strong runner and makes such good cuts he could've broke a long one and shed the contact. Belfry did a pretty bang up job on JJ Jude and he still went for 120+ because he was able to break a long one to help his stats.

Does this mean he definitely would have? Not necessarily... the Pirates were finely tuned to shut down the run that game and were playing with a chip on their shoulder. According to some on here in the lead up, the Central backups were not a huge dropoff from Wales and they were essentially shut down.

It's NOT a late hit like he is posting all over FB and Twitter and I think #22 Dotson and #17 Mullins is in on the hit with Dixon. He wasn't getting away from these 3.

Just watched the game on Ihigh and both teams played well on defense. Central was not heads and shoulders better than Belfry and it was a great defensive battle. Great game by both. The #10 kid from Belfry was a beast, all over the field and making big hits.

You misunderstood what I was trying to say.

While I don't think anyone should be calling Wales a punk, or any name, there was no late hit. At the time he said he was hit late, he may have thought he was out of bounds, but the video evidence is indisputable. It wasn't late at all.
