Breahitt played a good game and hit a bunch of three's. Peyton Wright got in foul trouble and Owsley made numerous turnovers at key points in the game. A good win for Breahitt but Owsley is the better team.

Wright's the only one who can stop herself. She had 34 and 40 points in the first 2 games (Hazard & Buckhorn), but she can't score from the bench. She's got to stay out of foul trouble for the Owls to win these type of tough road games..

You said it all Lookayanner. Wright has a habit of reaching in for no reason when she has two or three fouls. When she stops doing this (and she will) and can stay on the court the entire game with the much improved players around her and the super talented transfer they will be a hard out for anyone in the region.

Looks like Breathitt is better than people thought. Summer ball victories don't mean anything. Breathitt has good shooters, play well together and play hard. Owsley won't be the last of their region victories. Don't see them winning Region but they will be there to contend for it. Being a "better" team doesn't get you a "W", you have to play the game and prove you are the better.

Breathitt County did play a good game, almost perfect if not for a few girls in foul trouble. Owsley only lost by 2 at Breathitt County and only shot 29% from the field. If they had just shot 31% they would have beat Breathitt. But I agree, Owlsey has to play hard to get a win on the road.
