Letcher Central rolls to go 2-0 on the season. They were led in scoring by Julie Cornett with 24 pts, Kelah Eldridge with 16, and Haley Whitaker with 11.

Dang Stardust that was quick. Pikeville had no answer for Cornett inside. When they tried to contain her, Whitaker, Breeding, and Eldridge started raining the threes down on them. This may be the deepest Letcher Central team I have seen in a while. In close games they will play 9 to 10 players. This is not counting that they have a starter out with a sprained ankle who is their #1 defensive stopper. If they keep playing well together, this should be a fun year. They just need to keep working hard.
