Which one of those kids for Rowan Co. is Townsend? Is it the point guard? What's his #

Just speculation, but I would guess he is still getting in basketball shape after football.... He traditionally is a slow starter, but always finishes the season strong.

Looks like a solid win to start the season for the defending state runner-up.

As soon as defenses start trying to stop Townsend, Wing and Egan will start getting more shots. Everyone will focus defense on Wing now but things will change. I have seen 3 games this season and Wing can still get his when he wants. Probably just getting everyone involved. Team Play wins.

I agree!! This kid better start getting some love from college coaches cause he can flat out play. He has to be 1 of the best point guards in the state. You always hear about wing but never him. I think he is easily the best player on this team. Without townsend it would be tuff for egan and wing to get a clean shot off. I really like his game.....

EKC tournament could be pretty good this year with Rowan, Fleming, and West in the mix.
