Hazard looks to have a nice size line. #71 the right tackle is big and slow as Christmas. If he can't move to good they will have their hands full with our D-line.

Well it is offensive!!! If you are not a coach and seen a lot of film on Hazard you know nothing about this years team, just like Hazard fans know nothing about mayfield's team!!! I hope your players feel the same as you!!! Hazard's seniors will be playing in their third State Championship, I say they get it done!!!

i am a pikeville fan and i am not rooting for hazard. they are my rival. i will only root for my rival for one thing. that is their demise. idc bout bringin it bak to mountains or not. they r still hazard i am still pikeville. its not goin to happen.

Fair enough,
Big qb is impressive for Hazard, then ther usual suspects are back and again look good in Blanton, Olinger. Line is again big but not as slow looking though 71 and 62 look slow on film

Same thing could have been said in 2009. The Lexington Christian/Hazard came down to the wire, then Mayfield was blownout in the finals. So was the finals decided on the East that year? Was that bad bracketing as well? You can't change the brackets every year to suit the teams. In 2008 Beechwood beat Hazard 14-7. A pretty close game by anyones standards. There will be swings in talent, especially at the 1A level. Yes Mayfield is rolling right now, but someone else will knock them off the top of the West eventually. Just the nature of the game.

Yes I was at the game and yes mayfield was faster than Hazard overall, but if not for the turnovers it's a lot closer game!!! Probably something like 35 to 21.

My heart wants Hazard to win, but my head and my football smarts say the money is on Mayfield....However, congratulations to Mark and all of Hazard's football coaches for a great season, what a great accomplishment to make the state finals in back to back years...
