Go Indians!!!

Glasgow will be tough, but I've like this Indians team from the start. They in my eyes have already beaten the best team in the state, NCC. So I feel there is no one left that can stand in their way!

Holy Cross 35 Glascow 22 This is the only game that has a chance to be competitve.

22 pts for Gkasgiw would be the most points given up by the Indians in the playoffs. I am not sure Glasgow has the offense for that many. As long as the indians def stuffs the box to detour Glasgows running game the Indians Hold them to 14 or less. Holy Cross's ofense will get their pts it just depends on their defense.
Glasgow beat Somerset by 14 and had the advantage of 6 turnovers. I dont see Glasgow slowing down the Indians offense like that.
I go Inians 28-7 for the state championship. The first for a great program and coaching staff.

Glasgow 21-14. They are a lot better since the Somerset game.

HC!

Holy Cross names the score. Football in N. Ky is just better than the rest of the state with the lone exception being Trinity.

Glasgow has some pretty good athletes, however, Holy Cross has shown it's capable of matching up well against teams that like to spread it out and let their athletes makes plays. If Holy Cross can shake the nerves of playing at the state championship and get off to a good physical start, then HC will do just fine. This will be a pretty close game for 3 quarters

Holy Cross by 2 scores

Somerset is too though, and we just got handled in the second half against HC. I think this will be a good game. Glasgow is very fast and has several very good athletes, but Fuller was by far the best QB we saw this year. If Glasgow can contain him the whole game they will win but that is a tall task.
#13
Kyle Fuller right now is the MVP of 2A football. HC by 2 TD's. He is even a better kid off the field than on it. GO INDIANS.
#14
May be the only good game of the entire weekend.

Glasgow 41
HC 22
#15
^ I agree, I think this will be the only good game
#16
Glasgow by 2 TD's. Glasgow's Defence is very tough and has not let anyone score many points against them all season long. Go Scotties!
#17
This will probably be the only game worth seing this Weekend, Holy Cross smacking Somerset like that was impressive as Somerset played a very tough schudule this season and played close in ervery game.

Glasgow biggest strength is there size om the line and their ability to line up and smash people with Sublett running the ball.
#18
Glasgow beat Somerset 14-7 eariler this season with Somerset having 7 lost turnovers in the game. Glasgow scored on a t.o with 2 mins left in the to get the W. After seeing both Glasgow and HC play I'm going with HC by 3 plus scores. HC line is awesome and Somerset's Strong defense got no sacks against HC!! The Jumpers D had many sacks in the Glasgow game!! HC's Qb Fuller is the real deal and I don't belive that he can be stopped by Glasgow.Good Luck to both teams!!

Glasgow has the athletes to play with HC, but they better have revamped their playbook since I saw them in the Somerset game or it could get ugly.

Glasgow has held down the points scored against them but I wonder how much it has to do with the weaker schedule they played against. I dont know much about the teams they have played only that they held Somerset to 0. Which is a great accomplishment, were the turn overs forced by the strong defense or offensive errors, I dont know. I look at these two teams on paper and the big thing tgat sticks out to me is Glasgow's weaker schedule. We will see but I pick HC by 2 touch downs.

Glasgow beat Somerset 14-7 , Somerset had 7 turnovers in the game!!

Rooting for Glasgow pull this out, but I think HC will just be too much for them.

When Somerset and Glasgow played, Somerset was still trying to decide who would be quarterback, between a sophmore who had traditionally played QB but was not quite ready and a senior runningback who had barely played qb since middleschool, but was a great leader. The turnovers, mainly interceptions, came from the team testing both out, trying to see what would work. I don't think they came from stifling defense as much as two kids still trying to learn how to play qb. Not saying their defense isn't/wasn't great...I just think the turnovers were much more attributable to lack of experience than defense.

Don't know how many, but I remember that Sublett kid running the ball nearly every single time for Glasgow. He was a beast, but they seemed extremely one dimensional. Unless their passing game has dramatically increased....I cannot see them being able to win and just run it up the middle with that same guy over and over. Somerset's running game up the middle was nearly shut down by HC. Don't know much else about Glasgow and their offense since then, but they better have revamped it or I don't see it working.
#23
I'm going to go with Glasgow in this game.
#24
Don't know what HC did to shore up there defensive line because earlier in the year HC couldn't stop any kind of running game. Volke from Beechwood had over 300 yrds himself against HC earlier in the year. Seems like they fixed it. I'll take HC 28-7.

Not according to Mayfield.

Holy Cross 28-20.

Glasgow has the athletes but as Ro Sham Bo said Glasgow really doesn't have a very deep playbook. Bascally they try to smash with #24, Run traps/countiers with QB, Throw the ball deep to #3. Every once in a while they will hit the big TE across the middle or the FB out of the backfield.

What type of size on the line does Cov Holy Cross have?

Tell Mayfield to call Mueller, he'll put ya on the schedule. Better yet, ask Beechwood how it worked it out then played Highlands. It was 37-0 after 1 quarter last year.

On offense the smallest is about 6 3, 215lbs or so. Larhets is prob 6 2, 250 or so.
Def can be a little smaller but a few of the same mix in.
Very athletic on both sides of the line. Confusedinglepar

“We know we can’t get too high,” Sublett said. “We’ve got something special going on, and we’ve got one left to get next week. We’re going to get it.”

This is a quote from Sr. RB Jalen Sublett of Glasgow.

Let's go Indians!
