LEXINGTON -- Northern Kentucky runners dominated the Class A boys' cross country meet during Saturday's state championships at Kentucky Horse Park, where St. Henry won its 10th consecutive title.
The Crusaders, led by fourth-place finisher Daniel Wolfer, put four runners in the top 30 and accrued 82 points to outdistance runner-up Louisville Collegiate (115). Wolfer, a junior, finished the 5-kilometer course in 16 minutes and 48.85 seconds. Race winner Jacob Thomson's 15:55.83 was the fastest time of the day, in any class, and the only one under 16 minutes.
