The host Tigers (8-4), No. 4 in The Courier-Journal's Litkenhous Ratings, woke up from a penalty plagued first half to stomp the Bulldogs (4-8) in the second round of Class 6-A, District Four. St. X's Alex Mattingly completed 10 of 12 passes for 159 yards and a score, while Brandon Moore rushed for two touchdowns and 77 yards on eight carries. St. X will face the much-awaited rematch with No. 1 Trinity next week.
