Pike Central 61 - Magoffin Co. 13
#1
Final score from Buckley's Creek.

Pike Central got out the gates early on a couple long TD runs from Justin Smith, took a 38-0 lead after the 1st quarter.

Alan Boggs had a huge game, I believe he had 4 or 5 TD passes...racked up some big yards too.

Magoffin played tough till the end, but the Hawks were just too much for the Hornets.

Not bad for one half. Pike Central could have put up a hundred if they wanted to. 1st string didnt play one play in the 2nd half . That was smart on Chapman's part. Good job Hawks. Now lets get ready for Breathitt.

^ Should be an interesting match-up with Breathitt

not really suprised by the score...Pike Central moves on to a big game against Breathitt....

On a sub set of the game ...Chapman / Holcomb....

Will have a front row seat..

Congrats PC Hawks, looks as if everyone will be healthy for Breathitt, Chapman pulled all of the first string at half time and played the JV whole second half...With round two in site, don't overlook the Bobcats this Friday, everyone knows the Hawks want that rematch with Belfry, but one game at a time! Play up to your potential and you will be rewarded with that rematch, Good game aganist Magoffin, but the road will get more bumpy as you travel! Go Hawks!

Not bad at all. Bogg's is a darn good QB. He's got a heck of an arm. Any idea on where he might play in college?

which team do you think is better Magoffin? Breathitt or pike central? which one hits harder and better offense/defense - all around?

Will Coach McCoy come back after the very disappointing way the Magoffin system have dealt with the football program over there? I have heard that they didn't play any youth football, and Coach McCoy only came back because of his emotional attachment to the kids. The poorer districts don't ever seem to get it. To keep a great coach that is willing to work hard-you've got to spend a little money and then winning will generate revenue. Good luck to both teams going forward.
