Senior quarterback Kyle Fuller threw four touchdowns passes to lead Holy Cross to a blowout victory in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs.
The Indians, which were ranked No. 9 in the final Kentucky Enquirer area coaches’ poll, out-gained Carroll County 527 to 20.
Fuller completed 7-of-9 passes for 193 yards.
The trio of senior wide receivers Eric Walker and Justin Kohake, and sophomore running back Jalen Beal combined for seven touchdowns.
Walker scored twice and amassed 150 yards on four catches and Kohake scored three times, including a fumble recovery in the end zone after a 44-yard run by Holy Cross.
Beal had two rushing touchdowns to lead the Holy Cross offense that finished with 330 yards on the ground. Junior Burt Pouncy rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on six carries.
Holy Cross will play at Owen County Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the next round of the playoffs.
