Exiled by Perry County

And seriously Romo isnt a top 10 qb, and he is the biggest screw up in clutch situations in the history of the game. And idc if yokozuna was guarding dillon, if you have 7 or 8 inches on someone you should always have more then two points.

Obviously my first post was correct, you know nothing about basketball!!! Nor the NFL for that matter!!!

Perry fans like to tell about Hazard voting not to play them but they forget to tell that they refuse to play Buckhorn.

If you would quit worrying about Hazrard you could enjoy your teams success a lot more!

No, I'm an old Navajo that has some class!!! Not somebody that rips their own teams players as soon as they graduate. Fans like you is why PCC will never have any tradition!

As i stated earlier, i ripped dillon when he played for perry central. IDC who reads this, if a mod feels what i say is not appropriate they would give me a warning or a suspension. And how am i gonna enjoy basketball team success if the season has not started yet? And if you are a old navajo you are a disgrace to a school that my family had so much to do with. And seriously your saying Perry has no tradition??? outside of football and softball they are a force in every sport almost every year. And the football team is coming along greatly.

Yea i dont know whats up with that. I know that one season there was almost a fight every time the two teams plyed because buckhorn had no discipline. But one season of bad blood is no reason to stop playing each other.

"Yea if the Perry board hadn't cut their on set off they would still be playing!!! In other words they started the not playing mess!!! NOT HAZARD!!!" That is a direct quote from u on a football thread. So obviously you said nothing about grade school or anything. So would you like to lie about anything else? Or since ur a old navajo are you just having symptoms of alzheimer's?

Perry did decided not to play Roy G Eversole first.
Hazard made the same decision in high school. But cmon, these two teams not playing twice a year costs both teams a ton of money. Shame on you Hazard.

Thank You, this started the whole mess, that's all I'm saying! John Paul Amis actually thought he could hurt financially Hazard Independent School. It's like everyting else, about MONEY!

I agree 100%, they should play, but don't just shame Hazard, shame both.

And if your family are Navajo's I bet they don't know how you are getting on a message board and handling foul language. They wouldn't approve!!!

I'm not talking about just winning, yea that's part of it I know. I talking about respecting every player good game or bad game. You think Dillon Cornett would want to send his children to PCC if everybody felt the way you do? I doubt it!

I played Roy G. my 8th grade year which was 5 yrs ago. I played them in both football and basketball. And I know Perry is trying to refuse to play any opponents in the district right now because they refuse to seed the district tournament. Hazard and Perry vote to seed and Buckhorn and Leslie vote to draw. I think every district in the state should be seeded though and each team in a district should play each other at least once.

his last names fraley not farley

Di. Cornett was THE reason Hatcher played slow ball.
His skill set made Perry Central the team that they were.
Points don't always tell the story...
especially when your team doesn't really put up a lot of points.
In games where Dillon was guarded one-on-one he absolutely dominated.
Teams fronted him and brought help, they triple-teamed at times...
he was easily the regular-season MVP for the Dores.

I don't see how anyone can say he wasn't a skilled player.
Good post moves, could pass when he needed to, blocked shots as good as anyone in the STATE, and the biggest thing...
he forced teams to do gameplan around him.

Twice - once in each other's house IMO

Maybe you did in a tournament situation but you didn't play them at Roy G. Eversole where they could make money off the Perry Grade School Fans!

I agree but it will NEVER happen in the 54 District!!!

They never played at RGE, always played at HHS high school gym. I know its been less than 5yrs yrs ago. Just ask all the seniors and jrs at pcc. They all played against them at Hazard Highschool gym and Mem gym. They didnt want the county gradeschools to play them because HHS wouldnt play us. HHS voted NOT to play PCC in football and Bball only. Mr. Amis said if thats the case we wont play them in anything, we will not let them pick and choose what sport they want to play us in.

It wasn't a tournament. It was at Memorial Gym on the same night of a Perry/Hazard high school game. We (AB Combs) played Roy G. which was followed by a JV game and then a varisty game.

And what I have to say about Dillon. He was a dominant post player in the 14th region and against alot of other teams as well, but when he went up against someone his height or a little taller he was a non factor. I remember the game against Lville Moore were they had a 6'8 center I believe. He swatted Dillon any time he put up a shot around him. And Dillon didn't have post moves. He had a power dribble to the middle that took out anyone in his way and would lay it in but it only worked against smaller competition. I guarded him almost everyday at practice and I think I know how he plays more than anyone else does. He was the reason for Perrys success though. If you had someone as big as him in a region full of smaller players you would play slow down ball too just to try and get him the ball. Teams game planned against him in the 14th region tournament which opened up things for other players, aka Braxton who won the MVP of the 14th region tournament all because teams werent going to let Dillon beat them. Dalton has a much, much better skill set than Dillon, but he wont be able to clog the paint up as well.

You said my family would bee so dissapointed in my language. If you have seen Dougie coach then you would know foul language plays a great roll in my family.

If u would like to go pull the meeting that HHS voted on it im sure it can be found. The minutes and issues voted on are timed and recorded. IVE READ IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Im sure some smart person(not me) could get a copy of the meeting and put it on here. Ms. Johnson is the one that put it in to motion and they(board members) voted it in. I could really cares less if u think its not true, doesnt change the facts of the matter at all. It is TRUE!!

Why in the world is Dougie Campbell being brought up? He is the biggest joke in Perry Co. He probably dont even know how to spell basketball. I serious doubt he can dribble a ball. They will let anyone coach their kids in Perry Co.

Well first off he is my family and you need to watch your mouth. And if he cant coach then how come he is offered high school jobs on a yearly basis and for the longest time has had the major feeder program for PCC in basketball. Knowing Dougie he probably coached against you or you family and beat you to death. So hate all you want, but any one that knows Dougie knows he is one of the best coaches around here.

When Hatcher first came to Perry there was talk of Dougie being one of his assistants, that's the only high school job I know of being offered.

I know Hazard Board voted not to play Perry County Schools!!! Once again I know that is a fact!!! But my point is john paul amis(name not capitalized out of total disrespect) forbid the county grade schools from playing Roy G Eversole FIRST, and that is what started the whole mess!!! Everybody says Hazard started it but it was actually jpa, that's all I'm saying, nothing else!!!

Oh. I can believe that but far as HEAD COACH. not a chance. Family or not it is the truth.
#89
Dougie is an excellent coach. BUT he is just like any other good coach. He has had the talent on a yearly basis to win. AB Combs has the best location in Perry County. It right in the middle of the county. It has the largest gym. Has the most money, has the most students. Has the most athletic support. But I dont know of anyone in the past 5 years that has played for Dougie that has helped Perry Central in basketball. Just look where his best 2 players are right now. Hazard High School. He didnt even want them to go to Perry in the first place because he didnt like Hatchers style. But my point is, if you have good players, that makes you look like a good coach. As the old saying goes, its not the X's and O's, its the Jimmies and Joes.

Foul language doesn't show coaching ability or knowledge of the game, it only shows lack of vocabulary to describe situations with words that are larger than four letters. What validity can come from using a middle school coach as your knowledge base??? How many middle school state tournaments has he won?
