Well this game doesn't have the hype that last year's matchup did but, I still plan on making the trip to Harlan to support the Maroons and mingle with the wonderful Harlan County fans!! Unfortunately, I do expect this to be a blowout for the Black Bears but, it would be nice to see Pulaski make a game out of it and hopefully they will! Should be a good night for football! The weather does seem to be similar to last year as they're giving rain for the day before the game as it was last year.

I think it's the Harlan Co. Defense that steps up this week and sets the tone for the rest of the playoffs by keying on Wooldridge, Goins, and Smith en route to a 48-7 victory over Pulaski Co.

Harlan Co. has been stellar offensively all season but in the playoffs, look for the Bears rush defense to tighten up and become real stingy.

The road to Bowling Green starts now!!!!!!!

Good luck to the Filthy Animals as they start their quest towards Bowling Green. I'll miss the long bus ride to Harlan this year. The fans of Harlan County were very hospitable and made our experience in Harlan for the 5A state semi final last year a memorable one.

I just want to give a heads up to those travelling to the game!

They are doing construction on a bridge on the bypass in Harlan...so plan ahead for some clogged traffic and delays!....safe driving everyone!..:Thumbs:
