Anyone else have a blog, I just started my own. It's really fun. Anynoe?

I have a LiveJournal that I used to update more often that I do now and I have a myspace which has a place for a blog but I have only posted one. I don't really live an excited life and alot of stuff that happens I will just tell the people that I want to know instead of sharing with the world.

What blogging site do you use?

I live a far to mundane life to even take up server space with a blog. That happens when you have been married for 14 years and have 3 rotten little boys.

I don't have one (even though it would get interesting at times--especially during football/cross country season). If I was world famous, I could see the point--but since I am not--I don't see it.

I only read one blog--and it is only because the guy is such a lying moron that it cracks me up. (http://www.tuckermax.com)

Absolutely NOT. But since having them MY life has gotten mundane. My kids have a very active life. My oldest just won the AA state Championship playing NT/OT for them. Very fun for them and a lot of hard work for me.

I use to have a Xanga that I wrote in and then I switched to LiveJournal then to OpenDiary which I wrote alot in and now I have one on Myspace that I write it pretty often...nothing interesting tho...unless I go on a rant.

All but 1 of my blogs are purely business/product blogs...they are there to make me money. I rarely talk about my personal life in depth..it's not really for sale. Besides I dont lead a too exciting life nor am I a good writer...( I mean my life is exciting to me and I'm never bored during the day but...).

I have one partially personal blog where I post photos of myself & family and talk about my kids milestones & developments or just something to where friends & family can keep up with us and what we are doing in a family-friendly way for the most part...

I dont vent or rant on my blog...I dont get too personal...I never ( well, never say never but up until now no I dont think...) talk about anything bad/mean nor do I blog about political and other social issues that I believe strongly in...I think doing that would affect the business aspect of the one personal blog I have...

So after having said this, why does everyone else blog? Does anyone else make money from blogging? Do you do it to get attention? Do you do it to let friends & family keep up with you? Do you do it to vent?

...just remember that anything you say online is searchable via google unless your blogging platform allows you to make it private...otherwise everything you say ends up in google...for me ending up in google is a good thing...and another reason why I dont get too personal...

Anyway, if any of you want... post the link to your blog so we can all read it...

you make money with a combination of high traffic from search engines and advertising + affiliate marketing.
