According to some of the Bomber posters on Yappi.com, they sat RB Conor Hundley. Of course, according to the Bomber posters on Yappi.com, they sat him a lot in their loss to Highlands in 2009. So who know, the Bomber posters are just like you and me.
Congratulations to the Tigers.

Big congrats to Louisville X. Love beating the Bombers.
As far as X saying they sat Hundley in '09, yea maybe nice excuse . But the Highlands / St. X game was also the game that X took out Highlands starting QB (Bardo) and Towels (soph.) at the time, came in and kept the game on track for the Bluebird win.
Play to win with the talent you have. Don't make excuses for the loss with the talent you don't have.

I agree that you have to play to win no matter who is on the field. However, I don't think that is always the thinking of Bomber coach Steve Specht. That is what I consider his major flaw. It also just seems that the bomber posters have to make excuses whenever they lose.
The GCL-S (Moeller, Elder, Lasalle and St. X) went 2-5 against Kentucky schools this year. Very good year for the Kentucky schools.

I did NOT expect this, but congrats to Lou. ST. X

Cincinnati St. Xavier sat out Conor Hundley (sprained ankle) which was a no brainer cause you want your best offensive weapon healthy for the playoffs. With that being said, all credit goes to the Tigers in this one. Louisville St. X gets a nice boost going into the playoffs, and Cincy St. X should realize that their passing game is absolutely horrible.
Bombers defense pitched a shut out, and they still lose the game lol
