No offense taken. I am a BELFRY fan. I just try to be as objective as I can on here and was sorta just trying to talk about the game. I am very proud of Belfry and I listened to every minute the other night. Was simply trying to give a bit of credit to PCC's defense, as it seemed they played the run tough at times, especially on the outside runs.
Which brings up a point -- it seems that most teams have decided to try to eliminate big plays by keying on Belfry's motion man. This has been somewhat effective (see Ashland, and PCC to some extent) but has allowed Willis and Williams to keep inside pretty effectively.

Trey is just flat out a workhorse! At one point the other night while being facemasked and fingers being poked in his eyes, he literally "packed" 3 PC players about 4 yards on his back!!! Dixon is just too fast for anyone to do anything with and when he lays a hit, he lays a hit! To be totally honest, I feel that Ashland gave our boys the biggest test they have had all season long. I'm with Crossbones with our kids being a little "slack" at times. The thing is, they tighten up when they need too. Barnes was right there when he was in and didn't give up much of nothing! Robinson will get some work come Friday night as well!! Too much to say and could literally say something about them all! This team is amazing and I'm very proud of them!

Need Robinson to have a big game this coming week IMO.

That picture says it all that went on the whole game and not called dont believe boggs would have had time if it had not been for the refs helping him! Ther were a few droped balls by PCC and i think most were cause they heard Belfrys footsteps. Some teams played with Belfry in first half but cant in the second. I see people sayin PCC moved the ball on Belfry, but the holding and the Flags thrown on Belfry helped PCC. The fact Belfry didnt tackle as good as they have all season hurt to.If this game had been called fair PCC may not have scored in first half i know dotson would have had a few sacks and Boggs runnin for his life. Wouldnt say that about the flags for unsportsman, but i have to cause PCC should have been called for it at least 2 time they were not plus #56 should have been ejected in 1st half.irateSho

Not to disagree on the pugh drop but the hit is what made him drop the ball and hurt his ankle I thought it to be good cover and tackle that made him dop it. Even the fumble by shouse was a good hit but poor takles got him to the endzone. I dont remember any other long pass that was not defended well except the TD. I have said Boggs is solid ,but he made many bad passes 2 picks and had help by #51 holding and refs no calls. He throws a good ball but lot of what PCC does is short screen plays that get yards. In my opinion Boggs yard passing are mostley from a screen pass that gets some good yards after the run not on his arm.

Red & White....
The game will be on IMTV Tuesday, watch the play on Pugh, he dropped the pass, and as a last ditch effort the Belfry defender took a dive at his feet to save a possible TD, the ball was already gone...Tuesday at 6:00pm...As for Belfry not tackling at their best, watch the game and count how many time Justin Smith carries one on his back, and runs over the second as they bring him down, sometimes, hard runners like Shouse, and Smith cause people to tackle poorley, at least give those guys their due, instead of saying Belfry was having a off night.. As for 22, holding all night???? how many times did Belfry have their way on that first 98 yard drive...I think PCC had 35 yards in pentalities the first drive...As for Shouse, he was into the endzone when he was stripped...The fumble Belfry dropped on the 8 yard line was recovered by PCC, but Belfry was given the ball which led to the Pentalty on Chapman...Tuesday at 6:00pm...............

Well, if they had 35 yards in the first drive, then that's what they had all night. NOTHING else was called on them. NOT even the cheap shot which should have led to Runyon being ejected. You want your proof on 22? Check out the pictures. His mother as well as 8 other people of documented proof (pictures) besides the video proof. He even told his defensive coach that 51 "apologized" for holding him all night but had to do it to "contain" him. He told him that it isn't a hold if you can get by with it. HUM.... makes you wonder when the kids are smarter than many adults! Hope no one minds for me borrowing the pictures to show you just exactly how often 22 was held. I've got more, only posting 4...

His mom took a couple of them and I'm friends with her. She had the others on her FB page that some had tagged her in. Unreal isn't it! Not one (1) hold call all night long and the stripped goof ball standing right there watching it!

i say there was definately holds and one pic there was 2 on the same play, lol

Seeing these pictures of the holds reminds me again of some of the inexcusable officiating I have seen this year. One has to wonder where their minds are, of do they even know the rules?
What's the answer for improving the officiating?
Better training? Somehow keeping the partisan officials away from games that involve "their" team? I think that would help tremendously.

:eyeroll:I have the vidio watched it back and forth Pugh drops the ball. He was covered pretty good and ball was put where only he could get it. He heard the footsteps and anticipated the hit that came after pretty good hit on the play he got hurt on the play. I will say it again only one long ball was he wide open Warren stoped the long ball, on his side and Thacker picked one off. As the pictures show had Dotson not been held all night Boggs would not have had time to get long Pass off in my opinion. The facts are in those pictures you cant have you hands outside the shoulders thats holding as is pulling the jersey. Im not downing Boggs or PCC but they had some help friday guys with zebra strips, and even that did not keep Belfry from dominating the game.:rules: #56 should have been put out of game and when they tackled robinson out of bounds and stood over him and taunted him and was not called. I think Belfry was called for ever thing they said or done, but not PCC.:eyeroll:

You should not have to do anything to make officials call games fair. Its a shame that they would cheat kids or teams who work hard all week to play hard and watch refs take away with cheatin calls or in this case no calls. The fact that Dotson could have had a couple of sack if not just put Boggs on the run to help his team is sad. #56 punched Johnson when he was down and lost his helmet broke nose as well as other injury to his face not called ref standing rite there. He has to set out now cause he is injured but 56 plays rite on what a shame.

The official that did not make the call regarding #56 and Johnson should be suspended indefinitely. What is the matter with these officials? I myself have seen some very poor calls this season. These guys (officials) need to be held accountable.
Obviously they are not! There seems to be a large group of partisan officials in Eastern Kentucky. KHSAA should get involved; this is a shame that the players have to endure this BS.

Hawskrule i will review my vidio to be sure but i think that was a fumble on a pitch by PCC and Belfry recovered the ball. Pcc tried to pitch the ball one other time on a pass and Belfry recovered it but ref said incomplete pass.Pcc made lots of mistakes when they faced a tough D that pics prove was HELD back some by refs. Belfrys D had two picks and two fumble recovery. Drop passes, bad passes, fumbles, picks all because of tough D. Pretty sure PCCs D created no turnovers. They made a stop on 4th down one time where we should have punted but that was all. Willis,Johnson,Dixon,Aldona,Williams and Warren ran all over your D.

I can guarantee that KHSAA will be contacted and the issue pushed. I pray that when the officials met this Sunday (yes, they do have meetings) Mr. Clueless (the same one who didn't call the holds was standing within 5 feet of #56 punching Johnson) got his ass ripped! IMHO, suspension for him is light! He should be banned permantly from ever stepping foot on a football or baseball field. I know one of the ref's personally. I may just ask him NO, tell him what I think about the job that was done on the field Friday night!
I agree red&white... dotson has a sack against Ashland... He would have gotten him a couple if he hadn't been molested all night long!!

Boggs made "MANY BAD PASSES"? Give me a break! What game were you watching -- SERIOUSLY?! I don't remember "Many Bad Passes" Yes, he had 2 interceptions -- 1 interception was in your endzone & I would attribute this to excellent defense; the other was an excellent play by #44 - again excellent defense...(He may have a total of 6 or 7 TOTAL for the year but he throws a lot of passes & just off the top of my head I'd say his completion percentage is up from last year but without Chapman posting stats who knows? I'm going off my memory from attending games.) Coach may have gone to the screen pass the past few games to get ready for this game but you cannot take away from Boggs' arm this year & say that "Most of his yards" have been coming from this when, in fact, the majority of his yards have come from the long ball. Just because it may have not came during this game you cannot discredit this young man nor take away from his Obvious Talent just because you're looking for someone else to take your frustrations out on at PCC. He certainly didn't do anything to deserve this! He's obviously talented or he wouldn't have as many colleges as he does looking at him. Give credit where credit is due! :lame:
Boggs, Shouse and Pugh are all talented & I hope Pughs ankle is ok and he's ready to go Friday! IMO these 3 are unstoppable on Offense & when they have Boggs on Defense it only makes them stronger. They even caused problems for you all and that's saying a lot. You all just had a better game plan 2nd half & having more players who don't have to play both sides of the ball helps which definitely hurt PCC Friday night in the 2nd half.

#13 and #44 both had interceptions but neither were in the endzone. Did I miss one? As a matter of fact, #13 interception included the "extra players" in stripes calling yet another penalty on the Pirates to move it 15 yards farther back than where it was picked. I know that one of the "unsportsman like" penalties that were called was between 2 of Belfry's players after a take over celebrating and talkin (celebrating with each other) and the referees' said it was "offensive" to PC... Go figure on that one???

I think they're referring to play where Shouse was ruled with a "fumble" in the ENDZONE & Belfry was given the ball on the 20 yard line. Shouse should have been given the TD.

I was referring to play where Shouse was called for fumble after he obviously crossed enzone & Belfry was given ball on 20 yard line? WTF? Seriously? :HitWall:

If so, then what a fine group of "officials" we had Friday night... I do believe this is one thing us and Pike County Central fans CAN agree on! LOL

im personally disgusted with the hit on johnson.
some of u say not to blame pikecentral players for the game, hell there the ones playing it. if u hit aperson, and especially cheat shot them with their helmet off, u are garbage and trash. PCC got that ass spanked and cried when it happened.
atleast haywood didnt dance around and smack chapman on the back (jim harbaugh) lol

those pics are funny, but hey an o-lineman is going to hold in particular if he gets his hands on you in a pass rush. the trick is not letting them get their hands on you. belfry pass rush needs some work. with skill belfry has at dt i dont see why we dont see more zone blitz. 34, 22 and 18. all play in the secondary or lb last year. they could defend the quick curl or the flat. dont get mad at a left tackle for holding thats just the way it is. if he gets his hand on you, the grabbing the jersey from behind should have been called.

fbfan4 Look at any of my post i have taken up for Boggs many times, and have said he is solid and throws a good ball. I also have said he would not do as good against better D consistantly. I cant speak to other games but watched him last year and 3 times this year and it was screen pas on LC and Belfry that they moved the ball. He did throw several bad passes including the 2 picks that were rite to #44 and #13. #6 should have had a pick also. I have watched the shouse fumble several times looks like he lost control of the ball before he crossed goal. I dont think any bad calls were made, but many bad no calls were made for PCC. The holding no calls that are documented on this site proves it clear vidio shows the punch to the face and the tackle out of bounds and taunted Robinson to go with it. Boggs would not have been able to do as good as he did(not sure of his no.s)if #51 had not got away with the holds! Boggs is solid but not as good as you PCC fans try to make him out to be.Success against phelps shelby valley east ridge and sheldon clark is not impressive.:dontthink

The pitch that was fumbled was PCC was driving toward the Concession stand, Boggs run a option to the right and that one went over Smiths head, as Smith tried to get up to find the ball, that was the play he was shaken up on, and Belfry did retain the ball on that play...I don't have a video to refer back to...but will tape the replay on Tuesday at 6:00, and try to look at the one you referred to that was called an incomplete pass...If any of you guys have a video of the Johnson injury, please post it...I tried to watch that play Saturday on the first playback, and missed it, not to say it never happen, just would like to see that video, all I saw was #2 from PCC meet #28 in the hole, #2's Helment struck Justin under the facemask, causing his helment to pop off, I don't have the video to refer back to, but it was about the 1 minute and 38 second mark in the second quarter, as #2 pushed #28 back, two other PCC defenders was to the rear of #2, pyshing both back to the ground, I did see #28 pick his helment up and fall as he come to the sideline just before he hit the sideline at Belfry's bench...Please post this video if you have a copy...I've read many post about the punch, just have not had the opportunity to slow it down to watch the punch....I do think some of, if not all of that injury could have come from helment contact, would just like to view that footage...

The play happened right before halftime. Not to worry, KHSAA and several others have already been sent copies of the video footage for proof of the "non-calls" and dangerous level of play the referee's allowed. IDK about what red&white has, but I know it's already in the process of being taken care of!
If you missed the hit (yes, he drew back his arm and forearmed him in the face) then you definatly missed the "taunt" to Robinson when he "late" hit him out of bounds.... Who does your filming? WYMT got a good shot of it... see if they'll let you view theirs!

OH, and I know 22 could blitz all night.... has the speed and the smarts... Just gotta get some help from the men in stripes when he is getting raped every play. I have a recording from intermountain cable broadcast on sat. morning at 10:30 pretty good view of all the no calls and the fumble when the PCC kid caught the ball and tried to pitch it. The Shouse fumble in the endzone not as clear but appears he lost control of the ball before he crossed the goal.Im sure that had the refs been able to call it a TD they would have PCC got away with everything else in the game. Belfry won we have no reason to blame refs if it was not true. That usually happens when they cheat you out of the game and cause you to loose. Belfry was mugged at PCC,but not by PCC it was the refs. As for the shouse fumble it would not have won the game, and if he had held on to it we wouldnt be talking about it.
