While Joker says he wants students and fans to come in droves early to Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday, he can't listen to them anymore. He says his players can't either.
Joker almost broke out into a little Mike Gundy routine. A few years back, the Oklahoma State coach became a Youtube sensation for a rant that included "I'm a man, I'm 40."
"All the negative stuff, I can handle it. I'm a grown man. I shouldn't say that, I'm a grown man. I'm 48 years old, 48 years old and I can handle it. I understand that. These kids can't handle it."
Joker says his team is embarrassed about their performance up until now. They'll have to try to make some believers on Saturday, whether they want to or not.

What people need to realise is that Barnhart is gonna do what he wants no matter what we say. And that those kids read this stuff, being negative will not help us one bit.

I agree with you on the other part, but I think it's a far stretch to think that UK athletes read this forum.

That's not true! The administration will cave to the voices that are out there. There are just no voices that care. Those of us on here are obviously not indicative of the masses. The Administration caved when they pushed Tubby out the door! If the fans were as passionate about Football as they are about Basketball, I guarantee you that there would be change!

My guess is Joker axes Sanders next. I think Joker does see now that he made a mistake getting rid of all those good coachs like Heggins. For UK to win in the SEC they have to out coach teams, no way they can out recruit Bama, Auburn or anyone in the SEC other than Vandy.

This is the SEC Joker makes 1.7 million a year why would he care what anyone thinks?

This is exactly what is wrong with football today! People don't care, because they know at the end of the day their still getting their money! It's all about the money and it makes me sick!
