Looks good to me, except for 5A. There are so many teams that come out of the west that can dominate. Bowling Green/John Hardin/Franklin County and even Warren Central.
1A also can either be Mayfield or Beechwood, and right now I'd say Mayfield.

2A - Newport Central Catholic
3A - Central, Breathitt County, Belfry - More than likely Central
4A - Highlands
5A - John Hardin
6A - Trinity

In All Classes

Region 1
Dist 1 plays Dist 2

Region 2
Dist 3 plays Dist 4

Region 3
Dist 5 plays Dist 6

Region 4
Dist 7 plays Dist 8

then,

Region 1 plays Region 2 for one Semi State

Region 3 plays Region 4 for the other Semi State

1A: Mayfield
2A: Newport Central Catholic
3A: Central
4A: Highlands

3A will be the winner of the Bell Co/Lou Central game

The statement baffles me, because the odds of Bell beating Central are much greater than the odds of Breathitt or Belfry beating Bell. Therefore, if Bell were to defeat Central, one could not say Bell is a lock to defeat their opponent from the Eastern Bracket.

But it is your opinion, and I will respect it just the same as any other.

As a Belfry fan I would love nothing more than seeing Bell beat Central.... and it has nothing to do with "mountain" pride.

In order for Belfry to beat Central they would need to play flawless and hope Central makes mistakes. In order for Belfry to beat Bell they just simply need to play flawless or hope Bell makes mistakes.

I have said it before and will say it again, Central is 14 points better than anyone else in 3A. Bell is a clear cut #2 IMO, but the gap to the pack with Belfry, PT, and Breathitt isn't very wide.
