Darius Miller Draft Watch

To much talent in the UK rotation, Miller gets an occasional 3 ball here and there but becomes unnoticed and unimportant. He goes undrafted and joins the WNBA Development league.

Miller makes an NBA roster but probably is not drafted. However, if he is one of the top 3 scorers on a National Championship or Final 4 team, I reserve the right to change that prediction.

That sounds like a prediction based on last season...although I think he would've been drafted. I think, and hope, he'll explode this year and be huge. It'd be great. We don't see many top teams, like UK, Duke, UNC, OSU, have many Seniors that get drafted high.

I think it'd not only be great for him and Big Blue Nation, but good for college basketball. Hopefully more upperclassman will do more for their teams this year and get drafted high. I'd love to see that.

^Last season he was too inconsistent. I think that is what he needs. If you look at his stats, he has gotten better each season

Just from the previous season:
10 more minutes
8% increase in FG %
7% increase in 3PT FG%
6% increase in FT %
Rebounds doubled
blocks doubled
increased almost 4.5 PPG

The biggest problem was his inconsistency. We know he can shoot (44%, 48%, 85%) but he has to be more assertive and consistent.

Him playing on the most dominate squad in NCAA history is definitely going to help his draft stock.

He's a senior this year and he will lead this team to victory.
I'm sure Cal has him in a mindset that he needs to be BIG this year, which will pay off for Darius in the end.

^They will see. This is his breakout season. Last year he had double doubles and 20+ games. He was also named the SEC tournament's MVP. He will show everyone what he's really capable of, I know he will.

He definitley had double figures - he averaged over 10 a game.

EDIT: I take that back he had no double doubles last season.

He dropped 24 points of #13 ranked Florida.
22 points and 9 boards on South Carolina (6-8 from 3 point land)

Ended up averaging 11.3 a game.

I think Miller has been the weak link for the past two yrs... I wish cal would put his overrated a** at the end of the bench where he belongs and let him stay there all yr... I cant wait until he graduates

But he will definitely be early-mid first round bound.

^No I was just saying that I hope he does. It is almost impossible but I would be happy. I want all KY boys to do well. My wife went to school with him and the families know each other a little, so I want the best for him, no matter where he went to college. More-so now that he is at UK.

Darius wont average anymore than what he did last year, that's not hating on him either, I don't think anyone on the team will average over 15-16 a game. But I do believe there will 5-6 double digit scorers a game.

You are an idiot. Did you watch UK at all last year? Everyone has bad games. You act like Darius choked all on his own.

We've seen how great he is. He's been inconsistent, but he gets more consistent every year, and this is his year.
