Exiled by Perry County
#1
In all of the discussions on the 14th region and who is the favorite to win. I never hear Breathitt County come up in the conversations, it is always Perry, Knott, Buckhorn, ??Cordia. What about Denny Fugate's return to prominence? With his coaching skills??? (a few years later from the know forgotten MC Napier High) and the material that Breathitt has year in and year out, I think they might being flying stealth in the 14th Region.

Breathitt County is going to be a very good team this year. Breathitt will be a very dangerous team for someone to play in the regional tournament.

Good Post. I like what BC has returning, they are a top 5 team. The big Farley kid is a hoss cat. I sure wouldnt to see my team opening region play against BC.

Good Luck Bobcats!

they will be good with denny coaching but will probably leave first round of region!
#6
They are one of those teams that if they get hot they are dangerous.
I am in agreement that they are a good team - but I don't think they are a darkhorse or a meer threat to the powerhouse teams like KCC Buckhorn and PCC.

Breathitt has too many questions to be answered to pick them as a favorite at this point. Will Wes Noble transfer after football is over?? Will the football players stick with the basketball team this year?

If Wes stays and the football players play all year Breathitt will be able to play with anyone in the region and will have as good a chance as anybody to go to Rupp. If Wes transfers and the football players quit like last year they will be about like they were last year, middle of the pack and competing with Wolfe for district.

No way you can put them in the same breath as Perry or Knott until they play some games.
The same goes for Cordia.

But they WILL be a good team.
If nothing else....a well coached team.

No doubt their going to be a dangerous team. And will have plenty wins this season that people will say they shouldn't win. Their young, and very well coached.

Only time will tell, and some people have forgotten who Denny's brother is and how his activities can have an effect on games. Just ask Randy Napier lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#14
Definitely gonna be a good team with a lot of talent and a very well coached team. They will win their fair share of games I do believe.
#15
no one, I repeat NO ONE is gonna come within striking distance of Perry Central

Breathitt Co will have to prove themselves on the floor first. Talent must come to play for their coach. Let's talk after January when the team should be jelling.

From what I have heard, Fraley has lost 21 pounds so far. Denny is working on getting those size 18 feet quicker and he is working harder than anybody else on the team.

I believe that this boy will be the biggest player Denny has coached as a head coach. His days at Napier he never had a boy with this size.

^^

I heard Farley has been working out with the football just for conditioning? Any truth in that?

Amusing lol!!!! COMMODE DOOR fans a hilarious, with statements like can't come within 20 and nobody in the 14th will come within striking distance. Obviously with those kind of statements, we can see why your mascot is the closure on a port-a-potie

As bad as your typing and english skills go it is obvious you need to crawl out of your holler in breathitt county and get a real perspective. And if you read other threads its not just PCC people saying we will win. Its pretty much everyone in the region. People like you are just blinded by your devotion to your team that you have highly overrated. Breathitt will be lucky to be the 4th best team in the region. And KCC is the only team that will come close to Perry.

Really, and what holler do you live in Typo, Big Stinking, 2nd Creek, Viper, the list goes on. No one is disagreeing with the fact PCC should be the best team, but beating teams by 20 and teams not being able to get within striking distance is a huge statement. As I stated on another post, if your predictions are accurate then PCC should not lose a game in the 14th region, and post winning margins by no less than 20 per game. GET REAL???? Get your head out of the commode.
#29
No team in the 14th will go undefeated this year. I understand pcc is on top just like knott was last year before pcc knocked them off. Saying no team will be able to compete will perry is a BOLD statement esp. with all the new trasnfers each school has this year. With or Without Jaysean pcc is on top of the region until proven otherwise, but as far as beating everyone they play by 20+, i wouldn't bet on it.

Eddie Carroll was 6'5" or better.

Rob Mullins was 6'7" or better.

But neither had the girth of Fraley.
