The best LB's in the Mountains?
#61
We better stay on topic the thread police is on patrol threatening suspensions.

i believe that robinson kid is the one that broke the schools records for most tackles in a game and now also is the schools all time leading tackler. did it all as a sophmore.:eyeroll: but hey im just saying...

bb bradley from rock is a solid backer , but bell linebackers have been hittin me for two years and there no joke
#64
what is BB's 40 time?

#20 would have been 1 of the Calebs boys. Pretty ruff customer indeed.

Matt Simpson #19 was a senior in 08 was a pretty darn good LB himself.

Clay's stud would probably be Victor Hyland? I think he played on the 93 team? Went on to EKU.

Barton would knock you stupid...I still remember the hit he put on Highlands punter as I sure he (Highlands Punter) does as well...

BBs 40 is a mid 4.7

It pains me to not be able to say that the linebackers from the Rock are not on this list. but from what i seen this year it has been Matt Robinson
#68
Im not going to say best because ive not seen everyone play but i think one of the most underrated LB in the mountains is #56 John Brewer from Leslie Co.

Madison Gohrmley and Peyton Mullins of Belfry are looking good, but that D is crazy good this year. Gohrmley was all over the field in the Ashland game.:redboxer:

I think Rock has a great team of linebackers all working together, but no one is truly dominating. Don't get me wrong, they are as tough a defensive group as one could ask for, but the Robinson kid #24 for PCC just stands out head and shoulders above everyone else on his team. I thought Rock's line would take care of him, but he is the best linebacker I have seen this year.

I would take Rock's whole group of really good players over one standout anytime. That is why this is a "team" sport and the best "team" moves on.

I agree they have great group of backers but no stand out

I watched the film of Rock and PCC the other day. The Robinson kid, whether he was knocked back four or five yards(he was a couple of times...honestly) or penetrated two or three yards into the backfield, (which he did several times) always seemed to be in on a tackle. He's the best I've seen this year and is tough cat to clean up after.
I've been pleasantly suprised with the way Damien McDaniel has stepped it up this year at LB to compliment BB Bradley. Though Robinson is better than either one of them, I'm very happy with these two guys stepping it up on defense and would put them up against about any Mountain team linebacking corps for dependablility on defense not only defending the rush but the short pass as well. BB is the one that hit Russell County's reciever very late in that game which would have gotten Russell down to about the thirty-five or thirty and a much better shot at that late field goal attempt. It was a bone jarring undercut hit that spun the boy upside down making him drop the ball. Could have meant the game. Again, I'm proud of our guys.

That hit may have saved the game. I also remember the hit in the backfield on #40 at PCC on 3rd and one for a five yard loss when the game was tight (8-0 I believe) and we held on 4th for a turnover. That hit could have saved that game also. BB's defense and offensive may be the key in Rock's postseason success. So far he couldn't play better and with more heart. Best Rock "team" I may have ever seen them field. Alot of talent.

Matt Robinson- in many minds probably one of the best. This kid is not sourrr!!
& the two boys from Harlan County, cant remember the names. But their pretty damn hardcore

They do have a lot of talent but i wouldn't go that far. 'Cause rock has had some damn good teams in the past. This team ain't no where near the 06 team IMO
