Come belfry fans enjoy your win but don't come over here making yourselves look like fools. No you didn't embarrass Ashland a lot of belfry fans were predicting a blowout as well like beating us 42-21 or having over 400 yards rushing neither of which happened. You beat a good football team and should be proud. But carry yourselves with the class your coach and players do instead of hijacking a thread that doesn't involve your team just to attack a team you beat.

As for this game I would hate to be a GC coach knowing what my team is in for

This game will do nothing to help Ashland prepare for the playoffs. Bad habits can be picked up in blowouts.

This is a district game isn't this the second time you've got on ashland thread spouting off at the mouth we dont want to play winless greenup but we have to so deal with it. A lot of you NKY guys like to insult whoever you perceive to be the favorite out of this district. You've done it to JC constantly over the last few years and now That Ashland is prob considered a slight favorite your doing it here. So just worry about yourselves and we'll see how ready we are for the playoffs when we get there. For now its one game at a time

I don't blame you for wanting to forget. How was the crow?

The Crow is down your throat. I did not make any wild predictions like you did.We lost you won -end of story. Give credit where credit is due. Two good defensive teams equals a low scoring game. I hope Belfry does well the rest of the season as I do my Tomcats.

Now to the subject of this thread - Greenup County at Ashland. I believe the Tomcats coast in this one and hope everyone stays healthy for Johnson Central.

Touchy. I didn't make any wild prediction. Don't know where you got that from and I'm not from Belfry. No Crow my way. Have a nice day.

I don't know what we would do without the behavior example set by some on here.

after reading all of the post it looks like a few Belfry fans want to talk about the game last friday. the thread started here was about GC and Ashland game this week. I don't have a dog in this fight but I would say if you want to talk about the Belfry game do it in that thread.

If you don't have a dog in the fight, why is your nose in it?

Quotes like this from a Belfry fan, especially that talk about a young man like #80, further validate the point I made early on in my post in the previous thread. I knew it wouldn't be long before I would be able to clarify that.
Even an idiot like me has enough sense not to talk about a young man like #80 for Ashland, as a couple of previous posters have. Remember, Belfry had an unsportsmanlike penalty in the game. Every player on both sides are all great but imperfect young men.
And finally, go Greenup.
Although I don't think they will have enough firepower to keep it close with Ashland.

I pointed out what you were saying and it was to some one else. I never said anything to be hypocritical about. But you have certainly lived up to your description.
As for the topic, I posted an on-topic comment and the cry babies jumped on it.

As a Belfry fan, I guess I do have a dog in the fight and I agree with you.
Please show some class people, take the high road for a change and leave all the petty name calling and mud slinging to someone else. We are better than that.
Let's talk about last week's game in the proper thread and not come in here and jack this thread and ruin it for the Greenup / Ashland folks who want to discuss this week's game.

Now I am just hurt that you feel that you have to verbally attack me and call me names. I didn't say you were the subject of my post in any way.
Stop pointing when you look at that mirror and you won't have to worry about little ole me.

Well then I guess highland picked up a lot of bad habbits from beating pendelton 79-0 or mason 70-7 why didn't they play trinity or st x to help them get ready for the playoffs. Every team that is any good will play a team that is overmatched at some point. But for you to come on here criticizing the tomcats schedule over a game they have to play is just you trying to stir the pot. Go enjoy your next highlands blow-out and maybe if were lucky they'll have picked up some bad habits for the playoffs

Greenup is so bad that their fans don't even talk on here anymore.

You have a me thing, don't you. I didn't say you were the cry baby. Read the posts. If you just want attention start another thread and I'll give you some attention.

Ashland 52-12.

You are probably correct. FTH may well pick up bad habits playing the likes of Pendleton County and Mason County. However, FTH can afford to pick up a few bad habits and still win big against decent teams. Obviously history shows that the same cannot be said about your favorites. Let's just say that FTH and your favorites are multitudes apart in past performance, state championships, present ability, and future potential.

Let's just say that noone in Ashland is concerned with the bluebirds past, present,or future. We like our football team and are concerned with beating greenup injury free. Then competing for a district championship the following week.
