YOu sound like Fox NEws,
#3
I think it is a combination of a few different groups... like everything else.

I think that they are some slackers, some mad at federal bailouts, some that just want to protest. Do they have a coincise message... not really.

I agree that Wall Street should not have been bailed out... but I am a capitalist... not like fox news.

Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've already made a thread about this, but nobody listened to me! Sad

Important for Everyone to Read: What happens on September 17th?

Furthermore, there's already been another threat by "Anonymous". I've posted it in that thread.

These people at Occupy Wall Street are being used to create chaos. I specifically predicted that protests and riots would start during the economic collapse, but it seems that I'm wrong. The protests and riots are starting before the economic collapse. There's a video that I shown all of you where a group of people on RussiaToday mentioned that this could be the start of a "revolution" here in America. Glenn Beck warned that a revolution would come here to America. From what I understand, these protests have had a fair amount of violence, and these types of protests are going to increase. The last I heard, the unions are now joining these protests.

Please stay away from these types of protests. These people are being mislead and used. For those of you who have taken out a student loan, don't blame the banks for your debt. The price for colleges and universities have skyrocketed. Banks have no control over that.

Lastly, please prepare for the coming economic collapse. There's still a little more time.

I still can't find a definitive reason as to why these people are doing this...but it's America, take advantage of your right to gather and protest peacefully. It's fine with me as long as they do NOT jack anything up.

I'm not to fond of hippie anti-war anti-troop types, because most of the time they don't even know anything about what they're bitching about, not because they're anti-war and all that. But let them do what they want, and good luck to them. They have a goal (I think) and are going out and trying to achieve it. More than I can say for alot of Americans, sadly. Live and let live, men.

Well, seeing as their have been some riot type activity, screw this. Light them up with all the CS gas that NYPD has. We do NOT need this crap right now unless it's going to change something, and it's not going to change a damn thing.

I've lost all confidence and trust in our leaders, and I never, ever thought those words would come out of my mouth. I've not lost respect, I will always give the office of the President, VP and all of that the respect it deserves. But my confidence in government, whether it be a Republican (what I am) or Democrat or Independent or a freakin Green...is completely, 100% gone.

The conduct and actions of both parties, with Conservative government leaders calling the President of OUR country names, openly, and the same crap from the Dems...especially this spring/summer, has helped greatly with the government losing my trust.

Here's a link that proves that there has been at least a little bit of violence:

http://www.ny1.com/content/top_stories/1...reet-march

If you watched the video that I shown from RussiaToday in my thread about Occupy Wall Street, notice that they talk about the "brutality" from the police. This is only a minor reason of why I don't trust RussiaToday. From what I understand, I suspect that the police are only trying to keep the protests peaceful.

If a police officer happens to be reading this, God bless you! And thank you for serving our communities. If my prediction of violent protests comes true (which, by all means, I hope I'm wrong), then know that there are still people that support and pray for you.

From what I've heard, that happens during an economic recession. And as economic times get tougher, the gap between the rich and poor people become larger. I'm not sure if this is true or not, though. It's only from what I've heard.

But just to let everyone know, it's much better to keep our capital system than having to go to socialism (which, unfortunately, there are a few who would like to have socialism). Under socialism, no one is free. And the "little guy" is oppressed even more.

If you watch the news, they stand for almost exactly what the tea party stands for. But, since they are not conservative tea party types, the conservatives paint them as law breaking kooks.

They are protesting against big business and Wall Street getting all the breaks, while middle America get's to pay the bill for them.

Just to hate on Fox News a little...like I've mentioned before, I'm a Republican, and I absolutely can not stand to watch Fox News and their retarded bias. They're not even good at throwing their shots in at Democrats. I can do it better than that. Haha, Fair and Balanced. Good God. I'm on the same "side", and I can't even stand the complete retardedness that comes out of their mouths.

I prefer CNN. MSNBC is too liberal for me, Fox News is to dumbass conservative for me...I think CNN is the most "fair and balanced" of them all, and that they actually show alot more NEWS.

I think the majority of Americans, regardless of party, are pretty much in line with my thinking on the media. Am I right or wrong or what? And leave out your bias if you answer, haha, please.

The ratings are unbiased. Americans who watch cable news networks favor Fox News by a wide margin over either of the other two networks.

On this particular issue, the networks are doing a horrible job reporting on the nature of the Wall Street and other "occupations." The protests are a clear cut case of Astroturfing. Many of those who are participating are labor union members. Many others are paid protesters. I have seen reports of illegal aliens who cannot speak English who do not even know what the signs they are carrying say.

Most of these protesters, when asked, strongly support Barack Obama. That should tell you something. Obama played a very large role in the Wall Street bail outs, yet those who are protesting the bail outs support him? That is totally illogical and is the best evidence that these protests are not grass roots efforts. This is an orchestrated effort by socialists and other Obama supporters to blame Republicans for Obama's failed efforts to revive the economy.

You can call my answer biased if you want but watch the videos and read the signs that the protesters are carrying for yourself. Spontaneous protests against the "establishment" have never involved lop sided support of the administration that is in power. These faux grass roots protests are all about diverting attention away from the corrupt Obama regime during the campaign season. If the media begins reporting the role that organized labor and pro-illegal immigration organizations are playing in these protests, this effort will backfire on Axelrod and his boss.

From their website http://occupywallst.org/forum/proposed-l...st-moveme/

They post This- Admin note: This is not an official list of demands. This is a forum post submitted by a single user and hyped by irresponsible news/commentary agencies like Fox News and Mises.org. This content was not published by the OccupyWallSt.org collective, nor was it ever proposed or agreed to on a consensus basis with the NYC General Assembly

Then go on to post:

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.
Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.
Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.
Demand four: Free college education.
Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.
Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.
Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.
Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.
Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.
Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.
Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.
Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.
Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

So what do they stand for? Besides flip flopping covering your a$$

TheRealVille Wrote:Socialism is a Faux News thing to scare the average ignorant person.

Just to clarify myself, I wasn't talking about democrats. I was talking about the few socialists and communists here in America. I hope they study history and realize that giving all the power to one person only causes human rights to be disregarded. If the leader was ethical (such as King David or King Solomon of ancient Israel, or even President George Washington), than socialism and communism might work. But since most politicians prefer to use power for their own personal gain, it won't work.

If the Occupy Wall Street protests can be peaceful protests, then I'm personally fine with these protests. And by all means, if the Tea Party protests ever become violent, I'll completely reject them. I'm not rejecting the Occupy Wall Street protests because they seem to be more on the democrat's side. I'm only rejecting them because there have been reports of violence. If these protests can be peaceful, the I'll fully welcome to have a discussion with these people on what's good for our country.

Well, you sort of hit on it a little bit v33. The original hippie-anti-war anti-troop types are folks like Bill Ayers,Ted Gold, Terry Robbins, Diana Oughton, and a host of others. These formed the terrorist organization that became know as the Underground Weathermen. Several of the orginal hippies have managed to find their way into positions in which they are able to influence mine and your everyday lives. Most notably is Bill Ayers who has the president's ear to this very day.

Folks of this ilk are what we call the ulra left extremist branch of the democratic left. Cutting to the chase, Fox News reporters, have uncovered a few interesting facts with regard to the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators. Most don't know why they're there in the first place, it's just a way to raise h---. Others were paid to come and hold up signs, some of those don't even know English well enough to read those signs they hold. A lot of them were bused in from who knows where, the why we know, numbers of demonstrators. Who is paying for all this? Money is being funneled down through "The Open Society Institute" through organiztions like "move on dot org", "Center For American Progress", "The Ruckus Society", "The American Institute for Social Justice" the list goes on LINK---http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=977

Now if you really want to learn about the contributions hippies have made to your country spend ten minutes looking at this LINK----http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Underground

Sorry I can't get the links I posted to work if I can figure out the problem I will post them later but, short answer is liberals are funding these activities that look a lot like a riot looking for a place to happen. If you type in the links they will work

That sounds suspiciously similar to what Glenn Beck has talked about... Could George Soros really be working on a one-world government?

He avoided the "brought on" conservative questions, and answered them for what they were worth. He answered them, but not the way that Fox wanted them answered. Their questions that were meant to bring response that suited their needs. He answered them exactly the way he should have, the way Americans would have answered them that are tired of the rich getting off scott free, while the middle bears the brunt of the load. He told it exactly how it is, just not the way the conservatives wanted him to.

I don't have cable, RV, and I haven't watched FNC on a regular basis in over a year. I assume that Fox holds a copyright on the video that was posted on Youtube and could have it pulled if they wanted. Why do you think that it is still available and are you sure that it has not been aired on Greta Van Susteren's show or that it will not be aired later? BTW, it is amazing the extent to which you rely on the Daily Kook for your news while ridiculing Fox News as being a less than legitimate news source. Jaw dropping amazing.

If you will notice Hoot, that video is from an amateur camera that caught the interview themselves. His partner/comrade filmed this version. I don't rely on Daily Kos, I just thought it amusing that one of their reporters took one of Fox's reporters to school.
